Sorry to hear that @Dr. Ricearoni , I have experienced trouble like that myself years ago when I was less experienced in making comics.
And to @Chimplord1997 that caricature art looks amazing and I would love to have just a caricature section in the zine with your work.
In any case I am happy to include your works in the final zine. Do you guys have any suggestions as to how we can make this work?

I've been thinking of presenting the final results in the style of Shonen Jump or Mad... Get mini interview segments and Behind the Scenes looks at how Kiwis produce their comics, that type of deal.
Really appreciate seeing your replies. Can't wait to see how this whole project turns out.
How long would a submission preferably be? I'll start thinking of ideas

I'm 100% in, I'm a fan of zines and make both my own and contribute to others', do some comic work professionally, do demented crayon drawings while slightly drunk, etc...
It will be very helpful to have a set theme in mind but it doesn't have to be a very specific one, it can be something simple that helps contributors narrow down their idea.

I'd also agree that we should have a No-AI policy, even if you're not the best artist you can still make something fun. You can say it's "subversive outsider art" or something like that
Call it 12 Oz Mouse style... OUT OF MY WAY, I'M DRUNK AS HELL!!!!!!!

Single page stories or w.e. is no problem as long as everything is sequenced well and they can be lumped together. The 4 page multiples thing is mainly a printing thing, but also helps figure out where "page turns" are incase something is revealed on a page turn or w.e. It also helps with stories starting on a right hand page, and ending on a left hand page, production stuff.
Good to know. I'll prepare the official thread by next week.

To everyone reading this, I'm gonna need some early logo designs and name pitches for the Comic Jam Anthology (I asked Nihil about the differences between a zine and an anthology and this is most definitely not a zine) so don't hesitate to throw your ideas in this thread. If there's a design I like I'll credit whoever made it.

Yes, but i would need someone to give me Flash or Illustrator, or just like a program like Paint but with layers.

Some art of mine I'd like to share as examples I made in Krita using only a computer mouse from my couch TV setup.

Fuck yes I am down for this

I'd be down, I've made strip comics on and off for a while and haven't been super motivated lately. I could work with a kiwi character having some sort of adventure.

For a while I thought about creating a lite novel(s), something focused on visual story telling with few if any text sections.
Sadly though I never got myself to learn how to draw lol.
That being said, here's as good a place as any to drop my ideas and hopefully they'll help somebody

My idea was essentially a "Planet Earth" style anthology series focused on Demons in a pre/post humanity world.
It would have sort of "wheel of time" "Devilman crybaby" cyclical timeline that could allow biblical iconography along with post-apocalyptic civilization collapse, but in a way that leaves the current circumstances of the world unknown.

Ideally the world would be portrayed as post-humanity and post-divinity, but also primordial in it's portrayal of demons.

Entire ecosystems living inside of all but crumbled cities, filled with Demons the size of rats all the way up to ones as large as buildings.

Mountains covered in rows of giant angelic status turned perches for flying monstrosities.

Overgrown forests whose wildlife has been completely replaced and yet is eerily similar to what would have been seen prior to whatever caused this occurrence.
Not sure if any of that will be of use, but thought this was as good a time as any.

I might contribute, but that will be entirely dependent on my mood. I didn't originally plan to make a game for the game jam, but I made one at the last minute because I was in the right mood.

For the works I make that are not edits but drawings, I use Krita as my painting software, and I use the mouse for drawing, which is assisted by Krita's built-in brush smoothing feature. Due to this technical limitation, I usually focus more on small details and on the overall composition. My drawings are still amateurish without a doubt, but they're leagues above the images on DeviantArt made with Microsoft Paint. I understand the basics, and that's what one needs to know to make something enjoyable, even if it sucks from a technical standpoint.

I have attached some of my drawings I made for Kiwi Farms. I only made a few of them, and even those were made half a year ago. I just wasn't in the mood to make more.
