The bubble will pop worse than the dotcom bust; every single AI product is a financial black hole that these companies are giving away for free.
tbh as much as I loathe people taking "AI" seriously, it's gotten atomic energy back in the conversation bigtime, and that's one of my pet things so I can't get too mad if the bubble rides until some new plants are online
LMAO... Fox News have, somehow, found a way to spin these results as BAD for Democrats:

there's a big new crop of instant punchlines for conservatives thanks to this crew, I'll give it that

I guess the argument is that even though they won these regional elections, the rest of the country will react negatively? Loooool they think anyone will remember this shit in 2 weeks?
Can not wait for a commie to grab up her seat.

That's one of the good things i suppose.I cannot believe that we willingly sat on one of the most reliable forms of clean energy.(Actually i kind of get Chernobyl is scary)

My idea for jobs for young people:

Mandatory Boomer retirement. Starting at age 65, if you continue to work, your earnings above a specific threshold are taxed higher and higher until you're getting barely any take-home pay. Too many 70 year olds still collecting big league paychecks from executive jobs, which makes it so the mid-levels can't move up into them, which means the low-levels can't move up into those, which means you don't need to hire new entry-level people.
You get force retired in the military if you hold one rank for too long without promotion. The only issue here is you don't always want new blood in an organization. Sometimes, the old guy who's 75 and has been running the company since he was 30 is a better choice than some globohomo selected by the board.

pelosi's officially not seeking re-election

it is, but you have to build the plant stupid, THEN go out of your way to break it as much as fucking possible to get Chernobyl
Fukushima Dai-ichi tanking two massive natural disasters with the deaths being dumb madoka weebs who wouldn't tell bossman the meter was busted because SHAME isn't a sexy headline like bio-robots

selected by the board.
There's the problem. All of these organizations that aren't technically owned by anyone have really weird goals that aren't really controlled by anyone... they just kind of happen through group dynamics and the absolute horrorshow of corporate law. Like some kind of perverse superorganism that is incapable of caring about people, either the workers or the customers, or even the shareholders when you get down to it.

my idea:
  1. Send all the nonresident aliens home
  2. If you offshore, you are required to comply with US workplace safety and environmental regulations to re-import anything produced offshore into the USA.
There, I fixed it.

it is the reason why extremist shitters like Madami can come about.
I take issue with the idea that Madami is really an extremist.

All of his rhetoric is shit that the democrats have been saying for decades at this point. Hell even the "City Ran stores" are things that Democrats have actually done (and idea failed, we even had an article about it in this forum)

I do wonder if the fate of Feinstein played a part in Pelosi's decision to call it quits. Ending up a puppet of staffers has got to be a nightmare, and Pelosi was the one person to hear every little detail about how Feinstein's final days played out. Of course there is also the internal power struggle angle amongst the establishment democrats and the progressives. Could be the progs have enough leverage (or dirt) to force her out of office.

Maybe she is leaving when she thinks she still has enough power to nepo her retarded daughter into her office.
