I genuinely do not know how you could honestly measure grocery prices in relation to over all inflation. some items like produce, eggs, meat and dairy can fluctuate up and down in price wildly due to a bad year in farm country.
 
I'm extremely late to this but anyone with even a cursory knowledge of northern Californian politics knows how rigged this map is holy shit. Including the area around OAKLAND with red counties like Modoc and red cities like Redding is insane. Another case of the left accusing their enemy of doing something they are actively doing (gerrymandering).

Here's why the Dems running all the worst candidates won: they cheat. The recent discourse around anti-Israel/pro-Israel rhetoric, the Tucker/Fuentes cancelling, the edgy group chats, the fucking economic situation. None of it affected shit in the elections. Everyone talking about policy this, policy that are just being purposefully dishonest and disingenuous in the hopes of getting their ideology to the forefront of the GOP.

Newsflash: None of it matters. Do you want to stop them from putting in candidates who want to kill you? Do you want to win a majority? Fix the cheating. And it's not as simple as just the voting machines. They go to retirement homes and get literal senile people to vote. They trade votes in exchange assisting getting you on welfare. And now they make ballots in fucking China and fly them in.

Why did Trump win 2024 after losing 2020? Because they shut down some cheating vectors where he had allies and watched other areas like a hawk. Your ideology means jack shit when your opponent is cheating. Stop them from cheating, and you'll have supermajorities all across the board. Fail to do so, and they're going to steal a supermajority to impeach and imprison Trump, and fuck us all into the dirt.

tl;dr: Stop bitching about ideology and figure out how to stop the cheating.

I imagine it's one of those things that's technically true because it factors in every possible thing on the shelves, much of which is shit like rice, cornmeal, water bottles, salt, and so on.

Over 4 million non-immigrant visas are issues every year. Overstays are common, but no one knows how many there are since there was no interest in tracking them in the past. I'm guessing that the Korean Kia factory people that got ICE'd are part of the 80k.

Nah, you don't understand: The VA GOP run one of the worst Gov candidate in the past 20 years (maybe ever? I'm sure a corpse ran and won at some point).

Let me break down who is currently leading VA:
The VA Governor is a CIA agent
The VA LtGov is a pro-trans Muslim woman
The VA AG wants to murder GOP kids
The VA House leader is a felon drug trafficker
The VA Senate leader runs a pot shop

And the VA GOP still looses to this time and time again. Hell the VA GOP BARELY beat out a nurse who was doing live cams on the side for a House of Rep seat in the 2023.
