Remember in either 2008 or 2009 Obama getting that peace prize before having done anything (he was a little embarrassed, but who wouldn’t accept a peace prize) ?

Well the silver lining was this: people out of the loop from news won’t go “but what has he done”. Because most people just read headlines. They see “America….peace….” and that’s about the most everyone sees. The curious ones might look into why, but those are still few.

It can only be a good thing for us.
 
Anyone expecting anything major from Mamdani one way or another is up for dissapointment.

He will take the bribes and New York will be 90 to 95 percent the same. 5 to 10 percent gets worse. He will maybe keep 1 campaign promise and blame the rest on Trump. He will do exactly what Seattle and Chicago are already doing.

Any unrest will be because he pushes out nigger or spic power brokers for Muslim ones. There are no White ones left. He will probably not go after any Jews.

But often times the villain is literally based on the Nazis. Having the whole racial purity stuff and all and even then this still happens.

Bessent has said that if the Supreme Court rules against them, they’ll just reinstitute the tariffs with a different justification, of which there are many.

It’s been irrelevant everywhere outside of commuting distance since at least the invention of the internet and has been on the decline since the Civil Rights/Hart-Celler Acts were passed with only a brief respite under Giuliani.

Nashville is more culturally relevant than NYC is these days despite being a tiny fraction of the size. Unlike Broadway plays, normal people actually listen to country music.

I've been to NYC twice, and once was enough. They still have that cavalier attitude it's the center of the world.

NYC is disgusting. Filthy and worn down. Its past the point where it has 'character' or 'charm'. Its an embarrassing bughive thats unpleasant to live in. For the taxes you pay, the quality of life should be much higher, but it isn't.

Women who watch/read those things like to believe that if they were Hitler, Eisenhower would have looked into those baby blues and said, "I can save her," and she'd end up not just Reichskanzler but also First Lady of the United States.
