I still dont understand the dooming, we still have the house the senate and executive and a majority on the supreme court, lets not let one brownoid in a city none of us would touch with a 10 foot pole be such a sticking point.

Fatpacks has always been wrong, its what he DOES
after redistricting the GOP will likely hold at least the house in the midterms, thereby nullifying a possible dem senate. if the VRA is nuked the the GOP will have a safe majority in the house almost by default.
"If we DON'T do that, uh, people will say "They're not doing much and they're in power"

Trump is way smarter than he was last term. He knows what people are saying, angry that nothing ever gets done. He remembers the government supermajority the Republicans had in his first term, which was completely wasted with infighting and Never Trumpers burning their own cocks off to spite Trump.

Congress is broken and they do their best to do nothing, all the time, both sides. Will they do something this time? I'm not holding my breath, but I do see where Trump is coming from.

That said, hasn't Puerto Rico been up for statehood before and they rejected it? I'm fuzzy on that one but remember it was discussed in the past.
Trump has people advising him that know what time it is this time around.

PR makes a big show of wanting statehood but always vote it down when they remember that means they'll be subject to federal taxes.

Puerto Rico has been a political football my entire life. I don't know but the dems want it and tried during biden. Trump knows they want to gut the fillabuster soon. Doing it first, ramming through all the laws we can, and annihilating the democrats that way might prevent them from taking back power, because we're doing something.

Because it shows in a very clear chart that the majority of his voters were foreign born. Immigrants, illegal or legal, en mass voted for the foreign born candidate. It's a good reminder that mass immigration is a fucking mistake and that we need to deport a lot more people and reduce the 1.25 million allowed migrations to less than half that at least.
My point is, while you say might be true..... who cares if nothing is done to remedy it?

Dooming is retarded for sure, but the point is, even with all the majorities, nothing of consequence is happening

92% of voters who responded to exit polls about california prop 50 believe that a non-partisan commission should dictate the redistricting.

Never underestimate how retarded people are
Important distinction is that the poll is about who SHOULD draw lines rather than who WILL. People have also been hammered for a lifetime with the idea that "nonpartisan" is fair and good and "partisan" is unfair and bad, so they'll say that they're all for nonpartisanship even when, in this case, it's obviously just for the sake of appearance when the advertised objective of Prop 50 is to be unfair.

Some NYC related posts:
Curtis Sliwa gives a tearful concession speech

A New Yorker taking the subway home is SHOCKED at the energy on the train after Zohran Mamdani won the mayoral election.

“I’m on the subway going home and it feels like I’m at a wake.”

Mamdani won, and his supporters still have no idea why they voted for him.

"His cute smile on TikTok”

Everyone's spazzing out about Zohran and getting angry over him getting elected, but I'd say to calm down and let the city eat their cake when they find out that socialism isn't the solution to all of their problems. This is especially since New Yorkers are so retarded, they think that their city is the center of the fucking universe.

This reminds me of back in the early '90s when NYC elected that inept nigger David Dinkins as mayor after he defeated Ed Koch (one of the only competent fags in history) primarily because Dinkins was a nigger. After initially being so optimistic about Dinkins, New Yorkers promptly found out he was terrible at his job and he ended his term as one of the most unpopular mayors in NYC history before being succeeded by pre-senility Rudy Giuliani. Zohran will probably go down the same way.

The city was going to lose no matter which candidate they chose between Zohran, Cuomo, and Sliwa. None were fit to be mayor whatsoever.
Sometimes you need something to burn in order to show the rest of the world what happens if it gets to that point, isnt that right sodom and gammorrah

France is America's oldest allie.
That was entirely in their own self interest. Then they had a revolution of their own that was fully gay, and they've been spiritually blacked ever since. I'm no philosopher but I imagine a lot of blank slate horseshit plaguing countries like...well, France more than anyone, traces through the French Revolution, or even has its roots there.

Can someone explains to me why it’s a modern trend among writers to create a villain that’s canonically killed billions of innocent people and then be like “he (most of the time she) is sorry she doesn’t deserve to die” like why is this a trope?
'Empathy' and moral ambiguity, this is very selective though because if the villain is chud/'nazi' coded then they become black and white ontologically evil with no redemption other than eradication.

MIAMI (AP) — FIFA has announced the creation of a peace prize, which it plans to award at the draw for the World Cup on Dec. 5 in Washington.

The award, called the FIFA Peace Prize, will “recognize exceptional actions for peace,” soccer’s governing body said Wednesday.

“In an increasingly unsettled and divided world, it’s fundamental to recognize the outstanding contribution of those who work hard to end conflicts and bring people together in a spirit of peace,” FIFA President Gianni Infantino said.

FIFA said the award, which Infantino will present this year, will be bestowed annually “on behalf of fans from all around the world.”

President Donald Trump, who has a close relationship with Infantino, was passed over for the Nobel Peace Prize last month despite lobbying from fellow Republicans, various world leaders and himself. Infantino and Trump were both scheduled to speak at an unrelated event in Miami on Wednesday.

FIFA recently added another link to Trump by appointing his daughter Ivanka to the board of a $100 million education project part-funded by 2026 World Cup ticket sales.

All I can hope for Curtis Sliwa to not retire. I know that even in old age, he’s still got that fire in him. If anything, I still see him as the guy that dared stop muggings on the train with that red beret and red jacket.

A true and thorough New Yorker that can’t be duplicated.

Everything that is wrong with the world today is a direct result of the French Revolution (which still hasn't ended).

Gianni Infantino had no qualms with Russia during the 2018 FIFA World Cup or Qatar for the 2022 FIFA World Cup. He also played a key role in making sure Saudi Arabia gets the World Cup in 2034 as he advocated for a Saudi bid and restricted the hosting eligibility, which reduced the number of potential competing bids.

In addition to all this, for some reason he put his name on the FIFA Club World Cup trophy:

When money is on the line always expect him to try to do the most dodgy and profitable thing he can think of.
