I may have cringed myself into a coma. Imagine the personality on that girl where she ended up taking a calculator to prom. I think this comic needs to be rewritten, I've found something sadder.

She's said so in a few places, for example and occasionally on twitter though some of the stronger references have suffered from Wu's continual twitter purges.

I'm not convinced the Wus actually go to church on a regular basis. You could probably determine if they do by careful analysis of twitter postings if you were so inclined.

I don't think Wu is strong enough to pas though hallowed ground.
 
Wu is the type of person to tweet about playing any new video game or watching any new TV series on Netflix and gives herself backpats for doing so. If she ever does anything even remotely productive, generous, challenging, or even simple as going to church, you can bet she'll brag about it on Twitter. If she's intentionally vague about it in her tweets, or barely mentions it at all (like doing being a software engineer, mechanic, or journalist) then it's pretty obvious she's just bullshitting.
 
What in the shit is John doing that he needs a 30 year old graphing calculator in his purse? Nothing. The answer is absolutely nothing.

There is a near 100% chance that John couldn't pick that thing up and graph a fucking polynomial without help.

Except that, according to his ex, Frank is just as cruel, manipulative and abusive as Brianna is. What's left to figure out is which of them has the upper hand in the current dynamic, and Frank controls the purse strings, which usually wins out.
