From the supply side, you need licensed preschools which need licensed directors and teachers who at least can pass a background check. Preschool teachers are already paid very low wages. And many of them are certifiably insane or mouth breathing retards.

California Gov. Gavin Newsom’s characterizations of his humble origins are raising eyebrows, given his family’s ties to the late billionaire heir Gordon Getty. During a recent appearance on the “All The Smoke” podcast, Newsom (D) recounted how his mother, who divorced from his father when he was young, hustled when he was growing up.

“My mom was 19, pregnant and divorced a few years later, with two kids,” he said on the podcast. “Came from no money and just hustled. You know, worked hard, grinding every single day. Two and a half jobs, no bulls—.”

“We had roommates all the time because she couldn’t afford the rent,” he continued. “…It was also about paying the bills, man. It was just like hustling and and so I was out there, kind of raising myself, turning on the TV, just getting obsessed. I was sitting there with the Wonder Bread…the macaroni and cheese.”

Throughout his career, Newsom has told similar hardscrabble stories implying that he grew up in poverty or in the lower echelons of the middle class, seeking to be more relatable to voters. Over the summer, for example, he claimed to have slept on the couch and that his sister slept in a hallway because his mother had to rent out the spare bedroom. But skeptics have pointed out that Newsom’s late father, William, a former associate justice on the California Court of Appeals, served as a hifalutin attorney for Getty’s billion-dollar fortune William was so involved with the Gettys that he helped deliver the ransom payment in response to the kidnapping of John Paul Getty III. The elder Newsom previously explained that he was limited in helping out Gavin’s mother financially due to his costly run for the Senate in 1968.

“I made a foolish mistake of putting my own money in it and losing,” he said, according to a 2003 San Francisco Chronicle article.

“I had a huge deficit when it was over. I lost my law practice in the process. Things were unraveling. It took me quite a while to pull myself out financially. Tessa was working a number of jobs. Gavin had jobs after school.”

He later added, “I was around people of wealth, but I never had any money, nor did Gavin.”

Yet, after Gavin graduated from Santa Clara University, he started up a boutique winery, PlumpJack Group, with Getty’s financial backing.

“Anyone with more than an inch of curiosity would know that Governor Newsom was raised by his mother after her divorce from his father when he was 3 years old,” a Newsom spokesperson told The Post.

“He has talked about moving between two different worlds, but he was raised by a mother who worked three jobs at one point — secretary, waitress, and paralegal.”

Notably, Newsom attended kindergarten and first grade at École Notre Dame des Victoires, a Catholic school. In August, Newsom trolled Vice President JD Vance, showing off a stylish photo purportedly of him in high school wearing a fancy scarf juxtaposed with a throwback pic of the VP in high school wearing a bland t-shirt standing next to women posed in front of urinals.

This is completely ahistorical. Arabs were tax farmers just like Romans Goths or later Mongols. They committed mass murder in order to terrify people into submission but once submission happened they got real iffy about conversion because conversion reduced tax revenues. Christian communities under Arab and later Ottoman rule suffered attrition due mostly to the social and financial benefits of conversion but the kind of total war on Christians and others practiced most recently by ISIS is a creation of the modern world.

think this example through - the Sinjar massacre couldn't have happened if the Yazidis hadn't been there for ISIS to slaughter. If the Arabs were killing everybody forever how come they were there? Apply this to Mosul etc.

Call me optimistic, but this retarded muslim winning the New York race will be the best thing to happen to the right in decades. He is extreme enough to implement the most retraded policy in history, while also being stupid enough to ever have a chance to even mildly pull it off. The inviable failure will kill these policies in public discourse for decades to come. It is similar to how no one talks about UBI since covid, since the outcome was the predictable mass inflation of the USD. Best case for the left is him pulling an Obama by not implementing anything for his first term and that being enough to piss off the NYC voting base.

I know people who have had the opposite impact.
Like the Kirk assassination happened and they went from quite "oh I don't really like talking politics" to straight up "fuck it yes I voted for Trump, is that a problem?"

Like it made more people "come out of the closet" as MAGA conservatives.
 
Got this today. Really made an impression so am sharing it.

Making good choices applies to political parties as much as it does to people.

As I understand it, the Dems put Obamacare through knowing there was a sunset clause on the subsidies, yet they made the easy, wrong choice to have those subsidies in the first place rather than making a better, tougher decision to find another means to keep prices affordable long-term. Not the only place where bad decisions have been made by both sides. But the Dems have chosen not to negotiate, have chosen not to keep the government properly funded, which, by the way, doesn't save us a fucking cent. Cost money to shutdown the government. Again, the Dems make the easy, bad choice of putting party over country and the American people.

As a rule, the more good life choices you make, the better your life tends to be. As a nation, the better the choices we make, the better things tend to be in and for the country.

I think is better to let NYC stew in their communist heaven for a little while and then go guns blazing on everyone, i feel bad about the normal people there if such a thing still exists in that hellhole but they gotta serve as an example for the rest of country and world, hope something is implemented where people from NYC cant move to other states and they get forcefully locked in their mouse utopia until they get consumed by what they voted for.
