Exactly, they obviously can't afford to buy a new house now now now, the Seattle house isn't selling either so they have to rent in Canada. They obviously need the money for rent, which is why Ian is actually consistently streaming and Anisa brought back the onlyfans (both failing bad).

Has anybody else noticed that Ian is stuck in 2017? What I mean by that is he has the exact same mindset as a 20 something year old progressive in 2017. Its depressing hearing Ian talk because it is similar to an Alzheimers patient temporarily believing that they are a teenager in the 1950s again.

I have some theories for this
1 - The late 2010s was the last time Ian felt truly alive, so as a subconscious coping mechanism his brain froze time there.
2 - Ian was always jealous of the cultural impact and community progressivism had in the late 2010s and felt like he missed out, so as a cope he hops on the bandwagon late.
3 - Brain damage from mental illness, drugs, and getting the shit beat out of him.
