Good question and it's not the first time we've seen his overzealous mods banning anyone who could potentially ruin the vibe of the stream. It's not unheard of of streamers having chat rules like "don't mention other streamers unless I brought them up" but you'd think that old friends of Ian would be an acceptable and normal exception to the rule?
Ignoring that Ian has zero streamer presence, his mods are actively killing any chance he'd have at growing as a streamer. Sure, ban the trolls but loads of normal chatters have gotten perma'd because the mods take everything in bad faith and are paranoid.
