Going through anus’ IG is very interesting. Her confidence was through the roof six months before and a few months after CC1. I think he had a combination of: mental breakdown due to living with Anisa's BPD, wanting to chase safe money and content (world went super woke 10 year ago or whatever), nurtured narcissism and wanted to chase the 'cool' crowd his wife keeps thirsting for.

He didn't actually change, he was always a self centered cunt. Being with Anisa and making a lot of money just enabled him to endulge in his worst character traits.
