From what little we've seen of it, the house looks like it could be quite big, and that alone would qualify it as a mansion in Chantal's eyes, even in it's current state of disrepair. It's also possible Salah had photos of the house from before the war and she's seen what it looked like before it fell into its current state of neglect.

He could have led her to believe that. A lot of Middle East men lie to western women about what a wonderful life they will have if they will marry them. Told they will have maids waiting on them and shit and then they get there and it’s a whole different picture. You seem to be missing the point some people seem to be making. Yes, we all know how to use AI to summarize a longer document. I believe that some of the critique (to which you're reacting rather poorly) is that part of the entertainment of KF threads is the human aspect of it, be it humorous or not. Yes, the summaries are useful, so thanks. But AI is also dull to read, plus not everything Chantal or any other cow utters (ha) is necessarily worth the real estate. So it's a balance of priorities, and those may vary by user.
Admittedly I did read the summary but don't believe I've seen the live, but based on the summary I don't recall see where it said she said that that was all of it, just that that's how much she has paid down since moving abroad? I mean, I really don't care; her point, at whatever level of truth it is, is that living abroad has been cheaper than Canada and she has paid off some debt as a result.

They want everyone using it, and they are tracking usage. 100% it will reflect poorly on you if you don't (plus, your access to it will get pulled, putting you permanently into the "does not adapt to change" bucket, which will make you vulnerable to "displacement" or at least stunt your future. It is insane.).
