I am confused why people keep saying "the Dems are fucked". They continue to win elections and reap the spoils of the disease they have infested us with due to mass migration.

The ballot and mail in vote machines they built and created in 2020 that served them well then and in 2022 and was even capable of giving someone like Kamala Harris a vote share still seem fully operational.

Trump isnt on the ballot and a bunch of uninspiring Rinos who lecture young whites on how bad and racist they are for calling out the Jew, not wanting to get stabbed by Niggers, not wanting infinite legal immigration, and wanting houses so they can have a future instead of the boomer going on a cruise. Rinos who love to put up token minorities who will do nothing for them or women who cant lead.

Who see that the Republicans will gleefully backstab them while the Dems have their peoples back as long as they are a chosen minority.

Yes people dont like Democrats. Democrats have a machine that gets votes no matter what and the Republican party is pretty fucking uninspiring on the races for these smaller seats. Its not a bad bet the ballot harvest machine beats token based minority that the Rs will put up for some of the purple seats.
Republicans tend to do well when it's big races like midterms and general elections. 2022 was an outlier because of Roe v. Wade and poor candidate quality. 2024 showed that it's no longer a big priority. 2026 will likely be another reheash on an anti-Trump message, but that falls flat with voters now, they need more than that.

If section 2 of the VRA is gutted, than the GOP is in a better position and with how well they redistrict, they don't have to run a "moderate" Republican. Yes, the concern of RINOs is still there, but compared to 2016, the GOP has made a lot of progress, McConnell, Ernst, and Tillis are gone in 2026, Cornyn and Cassidy potentially as well. That will be something that Republican voters need to work on, voting in primaries and the GOP governors need close their primaries.

Finally, in terms of the future beyond Trump, if 2026 goes well for Trump, he might pressure the senate to remove the filibuster and pass a bunch of laws, especially voting laws. While Trump has the popularity, he also has a ton of baggage and no future candidate will have the kind of baggage that Trump had. Any candidate will look normal compared to whatever candidate the Democrats put out in 2028. There's no moderate left in the Democrat party.

I doubt Roe V.Wade was really that important. It's more on the poor candidate quality aka from guys like Mitch fucking with winable races to throw shit to political allies and pie in the sky election campaigns. With the old guard dropping out of power they're likely not gonna be fucking things up even without a trump at the head of the national party.
Plus the fact that the mail-in fraud machine was still mostly operational.

Warren is weird, because I've heard evidence of her having solid policy ideas, being willing to actually solve problems, and at times she seems like a completely fine politician. Then she proposes wealth taxes, chimps out about being an injun, and is generally just an unbearable faggot. She's definitely one of those ones you hope could be turned into a productive force in politics, if such a thing is possible.
You are correct. If you took away her caterwauling, she would be less of an annoyance.
I have a LOT of people in my family tree that fought for the south (and the north too) not a fan of stupid slogans, but heritage isn't hate friend. Then again you are a proud oil driller, so I'm not too surprised you come across as a bit of dumbass on this.
I understand that there are a lot of people whose families fought for the South and a lot of the Confederate stuff isn't there to give the middle finger to the US or re-open new wounds. It's to honor people's ancestors. Even if I think the Confederates were a bunch of retards, it does not make sense to completely vilify every single one of them and their descendants when a metric fuckton of them are still around and live in the same country as me. The Confederate stuff - statues, names, and so on - is very much a part of reconciliation, which I recognize and respect. There is no way to completely eradicate the Confederacy without literal iconoclasm and mass killings, which the Union was not in favor of at the time and I'm not in favor of now because it's patently absurd. Where I agree with people like you and am against the holier-than-thou liberal eradicators is that I understand the absurdity of their position. Unfortunately, they don't. They are over-educated, oversocialized thugs who want to strut around like conquerors when they haven't done anything and do not understand what it means to play with fire. A lot of them have no dog in the fight at all and are either first-generation immigrants themselves, or their ancestors came over post-Civil War.
I can get what @Hey Johnny Bravo is saying to an extent, it's something that easily gets twisted into "sports team" mentality. North vs South, where some people get emotionally invested in the war the same way people are about Ukraine or Palestine.

When history gets emotional it starts being less about history and more about narrative.
I'm very Northern and a lot of times the anti-Southern shit I post is nothing more than teasing. When the first round of activists came to remove statues of Robert E. Lee and change the names of Confederate places, I opposed it because it served no purpose. For all the liberals love to shout about healing, they fail to understand that the things they are attacking were and are very real aspects of post-war reconciliation. It's not a good idea to fuck with that stuff, but these people are not after reconciliation: they want to try and re-make American society.
The government could say they're making a Fort Shaw and putting it next to Fort Bragg tomorrow, I wouldn't care. This is the same country that loves to name military equipment after American Indian tribes that soldiers often had to fight to subdue so who cares if something is named after a Confederate commander.

Bragg in particular wasn't the best commander during the Civil War sure but we should all know now or at least realize that this is bigger then just one mediocre general. This is a fight over legacy and how a group of people as a whole should be depicted by society. The Confederates of the 1860s are right now on body blocking duty for the Patriots of the 1770s. As for why this is the case, anyone who knows their American history has the answer to that question.
All I know is Trump was 100% right that, after going after Robert E. Lee, these people would go after figures like George Washington. As I said above, these are not people who are interested in righting wrongs in any capacity. They want to break down and re-form society to their liking, and they're doing a very poor job of hiding it.

Read Guns of the South if you haven't.
It's an alternate history novel centering around apartheid-supporting South Africans time traveling to the past to help the South win the war only for Lee and the South to decide to outlaw slavery anyway since they shockingly weren't all evil racists.
That book definitely couldn't have been written that way today, the alternate history (particularly Alternatehistory.com) community now is a bunch of unhinged shitlibs and outright communists who think reconstruction should've ended with a genocide of Southern white men and they wouldn't accept a Southern victory timeline that isn't either a cartoonish Wolfenstein style dystopia or leads to a slave revolt that then somehow leads to Wakanda.

Braxton who? The only Fort Bragg I'm aware of was named after WW2 vet Ronald L. Bragg.
Reality is truly stranger then fiction when soldiers are plucked from the obscurity of history in order to name military bases after them because they have something in common with the people the installations were initially named for.

McConnell spending millions on a guaranteed Republican race in Alaska while throwing Kari Lake to the wolves is criminal. You can say what you want about her Senate run, but she would have won the governorship had she just had some funding behind her.

I'm probably one of the only posters here who thinks the Confederate worship by conservatives is fucking stupid. I don't think we should remove statues and change the names of stuff, since that's commie-style erasure and does nothing but ignore our country's history. That said, it's absolutely wild to me that people like Robert Gould Shaw are ignored while Braxton Bragg got a military base named after him.
It's because the Confederates are just as much our forefathers as the Union is, if you are an actual blood American you have connections to both sides. The identity of the South as Confederates was only erased with the influx of foreigners, who because they have no attachment to it, could freely demonize it.

You can say what you want about her Senate run, but she would have won the governorship had she just had some funding behind her.
I thought it was because she was pretty unpopular due to her terribly parroting whatever Trump said on any given day with no original thoughts or policies of her own. Of all the 2020-2022 MAGA bandwagons, hers was the most vapid and transparent.

I doubt Roe V.Wade was really that important
Dobbs overturning the fascistoid Roe v. Wade decision was imo one of the most important constitutionalist judgement of the past 50 years upholding the actual constitution instead of the democrats vision of a callous inhuman removed from God eugentist authoritarian totalitarian Biopolitical fascistic federal tyranny

I agree on some of this. But i think there is a bigger sea change people arent paying attention too. Pre 2020 the prevailing wisdom was that Dems had a hard time with mid terms because their people lacked motivation to go vote except for big hyped presidential elections. This was stated for 2022.

I posit in the era of mail in ballots that is now a "solved problem" for Democrats. They now have a much higher floor of votes because they will ballot harvest mail in votes. Meanwhile Republicans still vote in person.

Maybe you hold your nose vote for a faggot like Vivek or a cunt like the Virgina nigress when its nice weather and in and out of your polling in 15 minutes. Do you do that when its raining outside and an hour wait to go vote for people who will push for your replacement?

Meanwhile Democrats are handing people prefilled out all blue ballots and just need you to make a mark right here and we will do the rest and "oops a few forget to make a mark lets make sure their vote counts!"
