I am usually good at avoiding mainstream things i don't want to see but Kpop Demon Hunters is reviving my hatred of pop music.
Its been a while since i've felt something popular became so invasive theres something about it at every turn. Glorious Leader Kim Jong Un should nuke south korea and end Kpop once and for all.

I don’t see buying physical media you won’t use as a big issue, especially with regards to music. It’s something to do specifically because you wanted to give them money and get something for it.

I do happen to listen to my CDs sometimes but 95% of the time I’m on YouTube. I just wanted to give artists I actually really like some money for their work.

If you can't use the thing you're given then did you really get something in return for your support? I get wanting to support someone and get something in return but I'd want something that is actually useful. Why not just buy a poster or a shirt so you get more than a glorified tea coaster?

But we're talking about people who don't have a record player. In which case it's an overpriced poster that's much smaller and less intended to be a poster. It'd be like buying a woman's xs as an average man, yea sure someone could wear it but you sure as fuck won't, so why not just buy a man's medium?

I dunno. I was eyeing those Rick Wakeman Isle of Man stamps pretty hard yesterday. I feel Like Journey to the Center of the Earth might sound even better if I had those in a little frame in the listening room.

always nice to have a way to listen to your music on a physical device if the internet is out or you don't have/can't use a computer or phone for some reason

I know someone who spends so much of his money on vinyl records and rapper merch that he has trouble paying a 400 dollar a month rent even though he makes 60K+ a year, and he only ever listens to 1% of them which are shitty rapper ones that are probably insanely overpriced. I never knew how much retards spend on overpriced rapper merch, some of the shirts are just plain white or tie-dye and they are minimum 100 bucks.

vinyl collecting is at least a rich guy's hobby, who on earth would spend so much on them that they'd be unable to even pay rent-

I don't think the Lions basement was too crazy. He has a few pieces on the walls and did a theme without overdoing it.
