Destiny tries to defend himself against the cult accusations

I was recently talking about how Splitting works to a KFer privately, but this seems like as good a place as any to bring it up here.
People in this thread have seen me refer to the act of splitting when I talk about BPD people like Chaeiry and Brittany Simon, but what people don't know is that people with narcissistic personality disorder do it, too. And it's actually something anyone can do even if they don't have a personality disorder.
When you're about 2 years old, you begin to learn how to deal with your emotions, and categorize things. You put things in a good category and a bad category. This is when you start seeing kids throw hissy fits, and we call it the terrible twos. Some kids never really learn how to deal with those emotions and it creates problems with emotional imbalance. Then later on, once they reach sexual ages, they can start developing personality disorders around it. But the truth is, most people do splitting to some degree, and if you learn how to use it well, it can be a really valuable tool. One of the reasons some people are capable of hyper focusing on things isn't necessarily because they have autism or ADHD, it's because they've categorized something as good or bad in their brain. (I personally think a lot of people who call themselves autistic or ADHD just have undiagnosed personality disorders.) So for example, some people can have food aversions like autistic people do because they've associated things with "bad" instead of "good.
So this is relevant to Destiny because he, like the BPD women that he takes advantage of, goes through the process of splitting as well. When you're "good" then he can forgive a lot of things, or not see them, because you're still idealizing that person because they are a useful tool in validating your own ego. But when you've harmed someone, like he did with Pxie, you put them in the "bad" category, which is why he is incapable of seeing that he does things that are wrong, or that he harmed another person. Some people have asked why I feel sorry for Destiny or why I say he doesn't start off malicious, and this is the reason why. Because he's not *exactly* malicious until he splits you into the bad category. And at that point his brain is so broken that he can't see anything good you've done, he's actually not capable of it because he never learned how to regulate his emotions as a child, and something traumatic happened that caused him to turn this into a personality disorder. (I won't comment on what it was.)
The reason he is so easily able to forgive people and let them back in is because:
- He's going to punish them in some way, whether it's obvious that he is or not.
- He's letting you back in because somewhere deep down he knows that he's done some kind of harm to you, and he needs to soothe his own severe sense of guilt and shame that he is overtly in denial of.
- He's transactional in nature, and once you're able to do something for him, whatever that may be, you can be taken out of the "bad " category and placed back in the "good" category.
If anyone is curious, the big difference between BPD splitting and NPD splitting is what causes it. For people with BPD, it comes from a fear of abandonment. That's usually what triggers it for Chaeiry, for example. For NPD, it's about needing to maintain this delusional self image that you have, and making yourself feel better than the people around you is what causes that to happen. That's why he burns bridges and goes on all these dumb tirades about how everyone has wronged him and we have to listen to him talk about how much more charitable and forgiving he is than everyone else. He does it every time when people no longer serve the purpose he needs them to.
Chaeiry at one time was learning about narcissistic personality disorder, and she questioned on stream whether or not she is a narcissist. She is not, but she has a lot of the same defense mechanisms.
For Destiny, part of the act of splitting allows him to forget every bad thing he's done and place the entire blame on the person that he's wronged. Kyla should be aware of this and yet completely disregards it OR she's fooled by Destiny's false sense of humility that is very obviously fake to anyone who isn't an idiot.
When it comes to cult behavior, you have to consider how many cults are run by people with narcissistic personality disorder because they are naturally good at having cults. They think highly of themselves, convince others that their view of themselves is a good one, use sex to control their cult members and to establish dominance over people (often times cult leaders will fuck their followers wives) and they know how to devalue people and excise people from the cult because the cult leader is able to categorize that person into good or bad. So, everyone is correct that he is very culty, but most people aren't good at explaining how it works, including that moron mrgirl who thinks he's a psychopath.
Because people in the cult want to stay on his good side, he doesn't have to threaten them. They just need to see how he responds when someone displeases him. That's why JSTLK, Chud, Chaeiry, Pxie, etc, etc all stuck around and would go after his enemies when one of them leaves the plantation. He didn't need to blacklist mrgirl, his cult members all went after him on their own because they want to remain on his good side. It's also why they stayed in lockstep over Hasan until they left the cult.
Every now and again you could see people like JSTLK noticing some of Destiny's shitty behavior and not calling it out. Why is that? For the same reason Scientologists don't jump ship the second they see something creepy. When you watch his former orbiters now, you'll see all of them push back on more than just his shitty behavior to other people, they also call out his dumbest political takes. So it's not that they didn't see it before, they probably did, they just kept their mouths shut.
Let's see Destiny read this one on stream and explain to the audience why the divorce was mostly Melina's fault because she didn't like that Destiny completely shook her ability to trust in the world around her because someone had so many secrets.
Did you know that cheating on your partner can cause post traumatic stress disorder? Do you think Destiny feels at all bad for what he did, or did we all watch him pretend like that marriage ended because Melina was always bad mouthing him in the background? Badmouthing him about what? Who knows!?!?!!
This is exactly how the cult works. Destiny does something wrong, everyone has to keep it a secret, he gets to make everyone see Melina as the ONLY bad guy in the situation, he gets to try to bait her into saying something publicly so he can punish her for it publicly and portray himself as a bad guy. And all the people who went along with this in silence know that this technique will be turned on them someday, too. And it has been. : )
Anyway, sorry buddy, you don't get any points for being so forgiving of people. Some of us see right through it.
Destiny has told us himself exactly why he doesn't like Brittany Simon and why she's unforgivable even though he at one time would have trusted her with his banking information. Because she doesn't see him the way he sees himself. And he said that if someone's perception of him is so out of alignment with his own, he can't do anything about it. That's her biggest crime. She sees him for what he is rather than what he wants to be seen as. He talks about this all the time. That's the biggest crime anyone can commit, and Pxie committed it, too. She attacked his delusions about himself and shined a mirror up to him.
Sorry to double post, but I couldn't put anymore in that original post. So this NPD splitting is also part of the reason he's changed his tune on kiwi farmers and makes things up about
@Code Cave saying "rape rape rape rape rape" when Code Cave is one of the users who doesn't do that.
We just saw that clip of how Destiny talked about this thread a couple years ago, with almost a sense of admiration because some people were able to find things out about him. If you ask him today, now that people are seeing what's being said in here and agreeing with what's being said in here and we've committed the cardinal sin of making other people see him in a way that doesn't match his own delusional self image, everyone is stupid, everyone is malicious, everyone is evil, and the investigations are actually not that impressive.
You know when Destiny was saying nice things about the thread and KF? When Blav was going after mrgirl and Lav, and Null and the site were going after Keffals.
Destiny liked Doobie's underhanded nature when he snitched on mrgirl. Destiny does not like Doobie's underhanded nature now that he doesn't view Destiny as a good guy.
