Last time the tariffs on China were over 100%, US-China trade dropped to near zero and millions of Chinese factory workers were laid off. The CCP can’t let that happen again and they will drop their rare earth export ban before Trump’s tariffs take effect.

The term 'African American' really needs to take a hike. You're either American or you're african, choose one and make proper arrangements. Certain people will gladly say this about Israelis or any other country trying to be a hyphen American but we keep willingly hyphenating every black American by teaching them "no you're not just an American like everybody else, you are an African American." even though the vast majority of them were never even African citizens to begin with. At least Israeli Americans are literally dual citizens, not that dual citizenship is defendable, but they are actually dual citizens. Black people are just pretending that they are dual citizens so they can ensure that they will be divided from other Americans. It's bullshit.

All i’m asking for is good worksmanship. I love Made in America, but how come we can’t get anything that isn’t made in fucking Mexico or China?? Made in Italy, Germany, Japan, hell even Korea. One of the reasons Nixon went to China in 1972 was to apparently create diplomatic pressure to resolve the Vietnam War which did ultimately happen next year (as far as American involvement goes). I suppose that the PRC was underestimated at the time as a potential rival in the future.

What makes it even worse is that stereotypical American brands are all outsourcing the production of their goods to sweatshops in China. When I buy namebrand American products, I want them made in America with high quality craftsmanship!

African American was pushed to replace the terms "Black American" and "Afro American" in the 1980s. It was meant to give descendants of American slaves, and other American Blacks who lived through the slavery era, a heritage and a cultural base. Apparently Jesse Jackson had to do with its adoption into the mainstream. By its very nature, it also reeks of pan-Africanism.
