It’s a shame that the turkroach is going to likely slink away from this little scandal by going “Noo I didn’t shock the dog I just used a vibrator on her.” I wish I could describe the underlined better because it makes him sound more like YourMovieSucks but I’m sure anyone reading this understands the context.

Look here’s the truth, shocking a dog is not a horrible thing in of itself. Dogs get hurt just look how dogs play fight each other they will bite and scratch one another. My dogs always had a choke chain until we knew they could be walked without something that wasn’t so unpleasant. That dog is not suffering because it got a little zap.

How it’s suffering is by being stuck in that gamer’s hoarder den which is so uncomfortably boring for it. That dog should be playing with toys, running around outside, and sitting wherever it wants to sit, etc. It already looks obese admittedly I don’t know if the fur just covers the body that well. All I know is that dog just has a miserable life and should be taken care of by a family that can give it the home it would be happy in.

This brand really true to appeal to families compared to other ecollar brands. Their remotes are in bright colours, theres silly slogans, there’s sometimes kids and dogs together on the packaging, it really pushes the idea it’s the easy button on teaching your family dog manners. Major competitors all tend to lean towards working dog branding — hunting dogs and Malinois on the package. It’s a bizarre comparison.

Additionally, and I don’t have the info on this on hand unfortunately, but I’m pretty sure their CEO said something racist earlier this year and was getting cancelled about it so kind of funny for Hasan to have one from this brand.

@4:12 he says that the vibration collar doesn’t work on dogs like her as she has such a thick fur. I don’t understand- so he claims that it is not an electric collar but a vibration one, and by the way it doesn’t work on her?

Hasan definitely shocked the dog but come on, don’t be obtuse. He’s saying her collar is supposedly vibration only, “and her fur is too thick for any collar to work on /that/ way [electric]”. E-collars have two conductors that need to touch the skin to work. That said, LOTS of dogs have thick fur, with a tight collar the shocks would work no problem so he’s just lying.

He may be gearing up to try to tell people it’s not electric it’s a stim collar which is often what users of these devices say. It’s just static, it’s like a tens unit, etc all while using it on high enough levels to make the dog yelp.
 
This is pretty silly but i had a dream last night that Hasan was addressing this whole thing and to prove people the collar was safe and didn't hurt that much he tried it on himself and died on stream, then i woke up. Damn i was pissed he was still alive in the real world (:_(

Yea, basically this. The whole reason we have the clip of the woman commenting on it being so tight is because it needs to for the prongs to touch skin directly. It does nothing if they're touching fur. In addition, the same company that makes that e-collar makes 'wings' that you can use to more easily get through dense fur. So, if he was still having trouble getting consistent direct contact, he could've been using them instead.

Ah, so he could've made it looser if he wanted to, but intentionally made it incredibly tight. Wonder if that's so he could more easily pull her along, instead of giving her any slack and room to breathe?
