Wasn’t that actually a problem for protestors in Canada last time since they realized ‘No Kings’ would look like they were protesting the British Family since they’re still the country’s monarch?

Regardless, it’s all goofy shit; it’s the women’s march and climate walk out all over again, it’s not impressive for people to unite for a day off from work. Nor is it an effective protest movement if all you do is walk around and go home. The last time the country ever had a specific protest wave that affected politics was the Vietnam protests because they never stopped and were brutal. (And even then, majority of Americans supported the Army firing on Kent State)

i still think the turner diaries is a travesty of literature because of how poorly written a lot of its plot points are, but i can't deny that it and camp of the saints went from books i once thought were racist (over 10 years ago now) to being things i mention from time to time in casual conversation. it's eerie how this all happens, isn't it? turner diaries basically describes california as it is now.

Historically yes, but they're also facing a major funding breakdown as outside financiers step back to avoid getting dragged in this mud. A lot of that whipping comes from controlling the money that fuels and directs their ground game. Their usual strategy of effectively undercutting noncomplaint members in primaries before the infighting goes public only works when they can actually control that funding so effectively.
