Bloomberg spent a billion dollars of his own money in the 2020 primary to get 4th or 5th place. I think he's DoA for a lot of reasons, and money Aunt going to help him.
I heard on some recent FOX News show that AOC isn't as interested in congress as she is in the presidency, but they might be wrong about that.
My prediction is that AOC, who has fully been Buck broken by Pelosi and pretty much outcast from The Squad, well be taking over the Sanders grift of crowdfunding from poor communists and then giving all the money to the party at the end.

Nobody likes Gavin, trying to push him as a presidential candidate is the last death throws of Pelosi's influence. He had to fight off, and burn a lot of the Party's resources in a hard fight, a recall a few years ago. A lot of 2028 depends on how next year goes. The Democrats
have to take one of the branches of the legislature to slow Trump down. The big problem they have is that the Far Left are working the oars on a ship the Elite think they control because they hold the rudder. What we have seen in Mayoral races this year, I believe is the start of the Democratic Civil War. I think the Radicals are going to try to take over the party, at the worst possible moment for their side. They are going to try and Primary power brokers, they are going to sabotage replacing seats vacated by Elites line Nadler, and get terrible radical candidates in place. They are who creatively count the votes, run the Caucuses, and harvest the ballots, the Dems gave them the power and told them it was ok to cheat for the Right Cause
You can see with how Democrat leaders reacted to 5 House votes flipping to safer Rs in Texas, they are not confident in their chances next year. 5 seats gained by the Republicans is treated like an emergency. And you throw in a bunch of progressive Radicals spoilering seats they do hold, it's a recipe for disaster. Either way it's bad for the party, they kick the Progs out and shift to the center and they lose a massive amount of manpower. The Progs successful coup the party and shift it farther Left when that's been driving voters away for a decade now. Or it all kind of fizzles and you are left with a mixed party that's distracted with infighting. How it shakes out greatly influences who has what odds in 2028.
And 2028 is a existential crisis to the party. If someone MAGA aligned gets in, and takes away illegals from the count in the 2030 census, the party power structure is completely shattered. They will be losing 10-20 seats, and they are panicked at just losing 5 right now. The Dems won't have a shot at the federal government for two elections if that happens. They essentially have to completely rebuild their party.
I wonder if there are any dark horse contenders out there nobody has been mentioning?
