Something that I’ve had time to think over and mull about for a week that being the terms “media literacy” and “media diet” now these terms are basically interchangeable with how they are used but I want to go over how they are terms that basically mean nothing. Media literacy is often a term used by the freaks and degens for 2 reasons, 1 to describe how smart they are and 2 to insult the chuds. There is a problem with that, the people who most often use that term are the types of people that make video essays and articles that are stuff like “link from legend of Zelda is trans” or “Sam and Frodo are gay” these arguments that only work if you completely ignore everything in their respective source material that says otherwise. They start with their conclusion already in place and then try to find evidence that justifies whilst ignoring any contradiction that goes against it. Not very media literate of them. Media literacy and media diet are what I like to call shutdown terms, terms that the second someone uses them you can immediately disregard anything they say.

If you're not in the area around the ICE building, it's still normal by recent Portland standards; a bunch of homeless, violent crimes are higher than they were in the past but not Chicago-level, and don't leave your car or bike unlocked. The only thing that would necessitate NG involvement is the city's passivity about the ICE building situation.

I would hazard that the way Indian education works, the certification is viewed as equivalent to a foreign undergraduate degree. But unless there's something I don't understand about a "Master of Science in Accountancy" degree, I don't know why it's not open to Americans. Maybe it's like a law school LLM program, where the only purpose of the program is to give certification to foreign students who want to work in America, pass the CPA licensing exam, etc.

Yes, even if given the free chance to engage in political sperg under my professional name, I wouldn't do it. It's retarded—keep your personal life separate from your professional life. Nobody should be dumb enough to post things on social media that can be connected back to their normie job, no matter whether they're conservative or liberal.

Obviously, this advice depends on where you're working and for whom you're working. But any time you're an employee for an apolitical company that has clients or provides general services, you shouldn't say or do anything that could put your employer's business in jeopardy. I will never understand why people do this.
