Because there's a higher standard for acting as you get older, as it becomes harder to convincingly fake an emotional response that you would genuinely have as a melodramatic teenager.

I think it was to her advantage to play an adult-like character as a kid. It's cute to see this little girl play this bossy, sassy know-it-all. More like a caricature. But those kids quickly grew into teenagers and that loses its charm. Plus the emotional stakes got higher and she came across as wooden.

It's so funny that they are convinced she is on Twitter all the time. She just published the 8th book in a detective series, all of which from #3 onwards are phonebook-sized and she also exec-produces the TV adaptation. She's written + produced the three Fantastic Beasts films, overseen a smash hit video game, launched a new charity and still supervises her previous one. Oh and she went on a cruise apparently. The rocks they feel she is hurling at them are the crumbs of her attention.

Meanwhile 50% of this thread is now chuds crying "why can't she be raciiiiiist! I want her to be racist!"

Either way, I think they couldn't find a good replacement for Alan Rickman, so they all said "fuck it, let's cast a black man, so at least it will be remembered for that"

And considering what happened to Snape in the story, maybe Rowlings hates niggers too
 
Emma Watson and her co-stars have every right to embrace gender identity ideology. Such beliefs are legally protected, and I wouldn't want to see any of them threatened with loss of work, or violence, or death, because of them.

I would. The suppression of uncomfortable but undeniably verified truths in the aftermath of the skeptic war has shown that principles mean nothing and everything is a matter of might makes right. Even if you support other people keeping their jobs when they say things you disagree with, they won't do the same for you, quite the opposite.
So I'd be fully in favor of people losing their careers for supporting tranny ideology. Fire them, ban them, blacklist them. Because they're doing the same to you for disagreeing with them every chance they get.

Hell, ban endorsing trannies even in the lawbooks, slap the death penalty on that shit.

I’m actually surprised how utterly disappointing the “younger cast” careers turned out with Robert Pattinson being the only success.

One would expect them to eclipse the older actors but the likes of Ralph Fiennes, Kenneth Branagh and Helena Carter just keep excelling at their craft.

Well Pattinson was nearing adulthood by the time the movie he was in came out, so he was obviously cast for his acting ability
