Same with Ralph Fiennes. Apparently, Slytherins are actually the most based House after all.

My boy Tom Felton never once bowed to the disgusting troons and didn't backstab Rowling,Malfoy's stay winning.

It's interesting how the ones who didn't bend the knee to clown world all aged the best... Almost like going crazy for clout is like wearing a horcrux or the one ring.

The last 20 pages could all be deleted and nothing of value would be lost, it's just retarded visitors shitting it up with their A&H hot takes. Nobody who keeps bringing up rape gangs here cared about them before they became some sort of gotcha against the left and feminists or immigration.
Guess who actually cared about rape gangs? Man-hating lesbian Julie Bindel who tried to report on them (working with people who looked into cases of child prostitution and missing girls) in like 2005 and nobody wanted to run the story because they thought it would make them look racist. Maybe blame the spineless media and government first before crying about whatever Rowling might have said.

I wonder why would JK Rowling ever choose her for the role? Hermione was a buck toothed greasy and messy haired weirdo who had to make up her lack of a lot of things with smarts. Emma Watson clearly is not this. [...] the 6th movie, as bad as it is, that it tried to make Emma Watson to look like Hermione in the book as many of her scenes had her hair really messy. The rest didn't even try.
When she was first cast at 11 years old she looked like a messy haired, weird new teeth child. Rowling and other women see female children as children, and so to JKR, Emma Watson as a child just looked like a child. I hope this helps, but you sort of sound like you may be beyond help.

Not just that. She opened up to Rowling in fan letters that she was going through some tough times (including anorexia) and how Harry Potter helped her, and the author wrote her back words of encouragement. When she discovered that the casting for Phoenix was coming up, she strove to recover enough to audition for Luna Lovegood (and obviously succeeded). So you can literally say that Rowling uplifted a young girl enough to motivate her to save her own life.

She must feel a great respect for her. Simultaneously, however, she still has her own life and activism (in veganism). She doesn’t need Harry Potter as a security blanket like many of her co stars. Her appreciation also isn’t at enslavement levels of devotion, nor should it be. Evanna is doing fine for herself.

This is exactly what I expected from her. The most gracefully savage “check your privilege” post I’ve read in a long time.
>tfw my favourite character in the series is played by an absolute baddie irl

Bless her heart.

This is whataboutism, yes she did one good thing, she is also doing something a lot worse. There aren't that many trans people all things considered, a steady flow of immigrants from cultures who have never unlearned basic sexism should be of far greater concern to women.
Who is spreading the idea that Rowling is some immigration cheerleader with a divisive opinion? When I search "JK Rowling immigration" I'm getting results from 2015 and 2016. She worked with real African refugees from wartorn countries at Amnesty International so I'm sure she is a sympathetic person, but it's such obvious bad faith when you attempt to connect her with this issue as if anyone thinks of Rowling when they think of immigration. I've followed her for a long time. I can't think of anything she's said about immigration, other than supporting Julie Bindel and calling out the rape gangs (and using that term). Not to mention, all the left-wing politicians she's constantly criticizing are also the ones who support immigration. So your opinion is just kind of asinine.

She's a woman. Her focus is women. And when we're talking about changing the law, it doesn't matter how many troons are out there. The third world isn't going anywhere. Men suddenly being able to legally declare themselves as women is a horrifying societal upheaval. She knows this and put herself, her family, and her legacy on the line. People downplay this because she's already uber successful -- as if her peers are doing the same. What a based fucking woman.

I just looked up Emma Watson's filmography and the only movie of note that she has been in other than Harry Potter is that beauty and the beast live action remake everybody forgot about a week later.
Looks like somebody's afraid that her legacy is going to be erased because JK is involved in the new Harry Potter remake.
Sucks to suck, bitch.

The very last time she mentioned it was early 2024, IIRC. She's been otherwise silent on the issue, so we have no idea what her beliefs are at this point. I'm personally optimistic, but also prepared to be disappointed. I'd rather she continue to focus on her own priorities than demand she focus on mine.
