What makes you say that? It has been some time since I played it but I recall it being relatively easy.
It requires some quick reaction combat with the special powers and puzzle solving that often involves backtracking.
I have no doubt he would be able to finish it but he would probably be frustrated the whole way through since those are things that seem to bother him in previous BAVG.
It's a great game though, but the sort of game that will often demand full undivided focus. Not a good situation to be in if you are a member of the podcast race that gets defeated by the spectre of technology ittself when effectively just trying to do a presentation to a live audience.

I posted this in the Kirk thread but, This one really hurt my head. Yes, this person is real and has 22 times the Rumble followers of MATI.

If it's like Undertale I can't. I couldn't beat the bullshit where you have to dodge stuff perfectly for 5 minutes at a time.
There's only two fights that are as hard as Sans: Jevil's completely optional, and the chapter 3 secret boss is a scripted loss. The game is pretty generous with healing items too, so even if you are BAD AT VIDEO GAMES™ you should be fine.

you gotta do snowgrave though if you do. snowgrave is the funniest route

I don't think he's complaining about Sans, it's more likely that, if he has any fight in mind at all, it's the fish lesbian.

I'll list a few spooky games that I've enjoyed watching people stream:

We Harvest Shadows is only a demo, but the demo is rather contained, and would fill a 1-2 hour stream. It's also about living in the woods by yourself and farming shit, which leads to an aesthetic that is both creepy and comfy. It's also free, so if it doesn't work out, you didn't lose anything.

The Fears to Fathom series can make for some fun streams, and are pretty short. They're random Reddit creepypastas turned into walking simulators. There are 5 of them in all, but I've found the fourth one, Ironbark Lookout, to probably be the best, and probably would fill a 2-3 hour stream. The first one, Home Alone, kind of sets the tone, and it's short (about 20-30 minutes). Home Alone is also free. Carson House is the worst, and the other two are decent.

That's not my Neighbor is a spooky-esque version of Papers Please, which I think you said you liked. And it's not a walking sim.

Mortuary Assistant is pretty entertaining, but it's more pop-scare filled than the others. It's about 4-5 hours in length.

Chilla's Art does a lot of horror games that are short walking sims, but they're also very Japanese.
And a lot of people have already mentioned Iron Lung.

i highly recommend Look Outside. (steam page)
idk if its the kinda game Null would wanna play but its a horror RPGmaker game that I think has an interesting story and amazing atmosphere and music.
it's not full of jump scares and stupid indie horror bullshit, its a turn based, lovecraftian, "body horror" game.
i really really loved this game and i wish more people knew about it so, if anyone is looking for a game to play this october i cant recommend this one enough!!

Thanks for recommending this. Its only ten bucks and I played for a couple of hours. You aren't given much direction but it seems obvious what to do each day after exploring a little. Monsters are fucking awesome so far and it's only the beginning.

Took me longer than I wanted to find both

@Null

A short explanation of both. Drew Devault wrote up a whole article seething and dialating that cloudflare is funding "fascists" because they are giving money to ladybird, and omarchy (dhh's project) the one about ladybird is particularly reaching. He is not even right wing really.

It's an insane article full of pure seeth and cope. And I'm happy he is seeing his side lose some power over open source.

Then the other story. Some ruby people tried to deplatform Dhh and removed funding from Ruby Central because Dhh spoke at an event. So that left Shopify as the main company funding Ruby. And Shopify stood behind Dhh so it completely backfired on the tranny's.

They revoked their rights to the GitHub repos for the projects they were working on. After Shopify urged them to do so. So basically they tried to cancel Dhh. And instead they got a taste of their own medicine.

Really a happy ending to the story. Leftists impotently trying to wield power of FOSS projects, and having it backfire.
Next time there is happening in the FOSS community. I'll make sure to give a short summary of it when I link to where it was posted to help clarify. Should have done that this time. Because there was so much that has happened this week.

Josh, play Disco Elysium. It's a walking sim where you play as detective Nick Rekieta in Eastern Europe and discuss politics while your internal monologue alogs you for being retarded no matter what choices you make.

Disco Elysium is a good streaming option. In-game time only progresses when you go through brand new text, there is alot of chill walking around and you cannot really lose the game by making the wrong decisions.
The game is also claimed by communist troons who fundamentally miss the message of the game so just Josh playing it will enrage them.
