I believe that's only for certain stores in Europe, from what I'm seeing stores in the US didn't get that memo.

But if they did then GameStop is going to get an earful from TPCi and have their TCG allocations severely cut a slap on the wrist from TPCi and it'll be business as usual.

I don't even buy cards at local stores anymore due to them succumbing to the same scalping horseshit that's made the hobby such a disaster, even GameStop is charging above MSRP for its Pokémon TCG stuff.

All of my local stores are out due to scalpers, it's honestly depressing. That said you can apparently send a support ticket to TPCi saying that they and GameStop fucked up in the hopes of potentially getting a redo, you'll get a canned response and the ticket might get closed but they'll eventually have to answer to the sheer volume of emails personally.

Oh, and nice job on the Shiny. IIRC the Shiny rate for Tera Raid mons is full odds regardless of Shiny Charm and sandwich powers.

Tera Raids are still a bit janky but it's more bearable on Switch 2.

So you buy some Pokémon games, cards, toys or whatever whilst you're in the store. I wouldn't be surprised if these stores get paid by Pokémon to have these events.

It's just like McDonalds whenever they host a brand, the brand pays McDonalds, not the other way around. To my understanding.

That's real lame, but makes sense.

Went to a store nearby and saw the dreaded sign on the door. And a pointless add-on but I just feel like mentioning I saw like, four cop cars parked right in front of the store, but nothing seemed to be going on. When I saw the sign on the door and turned around, one asked if I was there for the codes and I said yeah, but when I asked if they were there for the store, he was just like "Nah, totally unrelated" and I never figured out why they were hanging around.

I hate to break it to you but Nintendo WFC was twenty years ago; we’re only about a year away from Diamond and Pearl being twenty themselves. Your point still stands but we’re quickly approaching the quarter-century benchmark for it.

I don't know why redditor trannies hated this one, it looks just like a classic monster pokemon, like Aggron, Nidoking and Rhydon. Maybe these diverse and tolerant individuals cannot bring themselves to goon to a hulking, masculine, cute zhey/xer creature such as this, hypocrites they are.

It's not as bad as it was, but it's still... weird. I have noticed that I'm getting way more hits in, and I'm actually able to uber my pokemon, so that's nice. But finding online matches is still a pain: it still takes forever to see if you'll even be allowed to join, still takes forever to refresh the raids, and you've still got some people just bring dog shit to them, and negatively impact the whole thing.

Like, someone brought a fucking Pikachu to that hydreigon raid, and they kept fucking dying...

It took a while into gen 4 for online events to happen, but at least those in-person ones just had a download machine going behind the counter. No need for this ridiculous limited run of codes. They had this all figured out back in gens 2 and 3, then abandoned it all in gen 7.

Scalpers are always the first in line waiting for stores to open so they can buy up everything to resell. GameStop doesn’t even honor purchase limits if they can slide enough money to the employees. They were selling the prismatic evolutions special sets

TPCI doesn’t care about anything else because they know they make enough money that they can afford to be out of touch.

I managed to find a restock the other day and this scrawny fаggоt was freaking out because he thought I was going to buy all of the prismatic evolutions surprise boxes and surging sparks ETBs and you could see the relief on his face when I told him I don’t care about either one. He wasted no time putting all of it into his buggy and trying to scurry off because he probably thought I’d change my mind. To me that’s fucking pitiful and I can guarantee you they don’t even play.

None of the last 4 sets have been worth bothering with. Journey together had like 2 cards that were relevant in the game, destined rivals had nothing, prismatic evolutions just had reprints of relevant stuff and surging sparks only had that tera pikachu that’s a 2-of in joltik box. Seeing people rushing to grade these SARs that are from sets that just fucking came out but are like $500+ is a joke while there’s cards from the neo and e-reader era that aren’t near that much. Why the fuck are the tera eevelutions worth more than the metal delta species ones, reverse holo or basic? Fucking pitiful hobby.
 
Apparently some Pokemon people are able to clone their shiny miraidon and koraidon, and they're trading them to other fans.
So, that solved my code problem. :)
they don't have any retarded names like, "pokescam.com" either, and they have the cherish ball.

I don’t know what it is about those shitty spam pokemon, but if I get one and it doesn’t at least have an ability patch I just delete them and don’t give them a second thought. I wish there was a way to block those bots.

The last time I played Johto was Scorched Silver and it was the best Johto game I ever played. This looks like more like a vanilla game tho.

I learned that there are people running hacked 6* raids, publically, on SV. It was a totally normal pokemon to encounter (I don't even remember it LMAO), but the guy running it nuked it in less than a second, and I got 6 salty herba mysticas. I'm not mad, I just hope I won't get banned lol
