That last quip she had at the end is the very heart of the liberal mindset. What hate? Where is it? Then again, given that we've seen all these people throw logic and decency into the dustbin of history, maybe what this country needs is woodchippers specifically for these exact types of liberals.

I've already heard bitter complaints from millenials about Zoomers being too crass, being too racist, not taking their jobs seriously, and on it goes. They're not wrong in some cases but I don't blame the Zoom-zooms for hating work or dealing with people now. I think its inevitable that people from different periods of time won't mesh perfectly.

This is how you know the person saying this is a Marxist or shares similar ideologies; these people believe that History (to properly express it) is this continual shift in a particular direction, leading to one inevitable conclusion. It's where you get people talking about "the right side of History" and so on; for those on the "wrong" side, their viewpoints and opinions will inevitably be proven irrelevant and wrong., which is why you should feel free to discount them, you enlightened woke progressive, you.

Again with the lynchings. If your biggest argument is something that was in fashion a century ago, you don't have much of an argument. Chinese women were still binding their fucking feet back when pretty much every American denounced lynchings, so just stop with that.
I just looked it up and the last known racial lynching in America was 1981. Before that they were almost completely eradicated after world war II. So the crux of your argument is something that hasn't happened for nearly 45 years, and that was an isolated incident. So maybe let the lynchings go because they haven't happened since our grandmothers were getting laid casually and none of us were even born yet.
And I know the Oklahoma City bombing wasn't a solo job I told you he had a friend that was helping him. If you believe that more than Timothy and McVeigh and Terry Nichols were involved, prove it. Because just like the lynchings that are a century old, I'm not letting you get away with bringing a fucking CONSPIRACY THEORY to the table as fact. That's precisely it, They will define anything that challenges them as hate. They go with the most polarizing word. Hate is a strong word, yet Charlie has never gone on a podium and spoke anything of hate. By claiming someone is hateful, it paints them as irrational and unable to be reasoned with. The modern day leftist sees hate as their capital sin.

But yet they paint any bit of resistance as hate. You're a homophobe if you disagree with gay marriage. you're a islamaphobe if you denounce the religion's overt violent history, you are fearful and hateful in their eyes. So they see you as a villain, the enemy. It further paints their ideological opponents as enemies, not civil opponents.

Allowing an opposing force to surrender and keep their their arms and heraldry with the promise of safe passage might have happened before Christianity, my historical knowledge fails me there, but it certainly happened a lot in western european history.
