If they were smart, they'd do the shutdown and not budge till the Democrats fold. After the antics of the past week or so, and the decimation it's done to the media, the Republicans have a real moral authority to get whatever they want (that aligns with their base) in the spending bill.

We'll just see if Trump is willing to play hard ball or not at this point. He might be afraid of the economy crashing to the point where he lets the Dems get a lot of their shit in. Everything is entirely in Trump's hands, and I'm unsure if he's willing to go that hard on them.

I think you underestimate the need to consoom for these people. Just look at reset era and their chimping about Microsoft because of the Israel thing. And then fuckers continued making threads about game pass games and such and there was more chimping out.
And after all was said and done nothing changed. Except Nep had to make the whole thing about niggers again and there was a lot of "I can't believe so many people are apathetic and have no moral compass".

Government shut downs tend to work against the party out of power causing it. You hear about it a lot more when Republicans do it from the media, but I remember we actually had a shut down by the Dems during Trump's first term and I remember it not going favorably for the Dems.

I'm the current climate I think it will actually be celebrated. There have actually been articles already written about moderate Democrats worrying a government shutdown will hurt their chances in 2026.

It's sort of a twofold problem, the Church itself has been infested with liberal "Christians", that promote things that go both against typical Christian dogma and principles of the Catholic faith that have existed for centuries. With weak church leaders this will lead to weak congregations. You see a similar thing in the UK where the Anglican church is turbo pozzed so the more conservative Anglicans (especially the African ones) now straight up ignore anything the Archbishop of Canterbury does or says because the office has lost nearly all the respect it had.

The problem is Congress can still be retarded independently of Trump. Yesterday 4 "Republicans" voted to not censure that Omar bitch after she was grave dancing on Charlie. The party is still rife with cucks that want to lose with dignity and it does not bode well for the post-Trump era.

Instead of making this post you could put an 'informative' or 'like' sticker on the post to which you're replying. It's called backchannelling and I think it's the strongest argument for keeping stickers. It's analogous to how in a conversation you don't need to wait your turn and say "yes, I understand the things you said", you can just nod along as they talk.
