It's disingenuous to claim only one person had that tailgate sticker. Everything else you mentioned is you LARPing for an argument.

From people I've talked to, I've come to the conclusion it's less being afraid about the Dems doing it to us, and more without us holding to our principles, there will be no one to protect and uphold our principles and rights, and that will mean they erode away.
I understand this concept, but I think we're past having the luxury of this mindset.

We're at the point where we need something akin to a Cincinnatus who can come in, take full control, decimate the marxist leftists, mass deport the non-assimilated migrants, and clean the institutions of their rot, then cede power back to the Constitutional Republic. But that would be risky and would, in many minds, set a precedent for a despotic system being preferable to the republican system. But there are less and less routes we can take if we want even a chance to uphold our values of freedom as we let this progress.
