I dug these out yesterday when people were sperging about .308 vs 30'06 but didn't bother posting them. Here they are with a AA battery and measuring tape for scale

5.56->.308->30'06

Also, as far as the scribbles go, I don't have an engraving pen and wouldn't desecrate a round of black tip even if I did, but plenty of room. I did this with just a fine tip sharpie, two attempts, second one mostly just to fit it all in the picture better. If you were using the whole round and had a finer tipped engraving pen you could fit a good bit of writing on one bullet

The bearded guy seen apparently celebrating in the aftermath has released a statement on his Twitter (that he's clearly reading)
He starts by calling out various phobias he heard from those around him, says he "didn't see" Charlie actually go down, and claims he was trying to project strength and optimism since he heard a gunshot and everyone was so afraid.
>hears shots
>tries to project strength and optimism instead of hitting the fucking deck

what a nigger, in a active shooter situation you hit the deck to make yourself less likely to be shot or catch strays.

A communist did kill Lenin. Edit: Ok, I'm retarded.
Lenin survived an assassination attempt by a socialist who disagreed with his Chekaist suppression of the socialist opposition, but no. Stalin, however, regularly accused people like Trotsky, Bukharin and Ryutin (ergo anyone opposed to him) of trying to assassinate him out of sheer paranoia and had them killed for it.
Lenin and Soviet communists would've killed and purged any American antifa types if they ran into them for being bourgeoisie degenerates

it would be ironic if the shooter found god because hes spending the next decade in a cell with only a bible and his own thoughts

shockingly realistic troon scribbles. amazing.

They probably would've wanted to be killed considering the Soviet Union was a society based on full employment and none of these people want to actually work. Otherwise, they wouldn't have all this free time to larp as radicals.

thank you for providing a handwriting sample to prove that you can write on brass with a sharpie

i.. genuinely can't tell if this is satirical or not. bravo sir.

Glad I'm not the only one who remembered tons of people on X celebrating it because the Democratic lawmakers were "groomers" and "child murderers" (seemingly because of the -D). Still, the majority of publicly-facing figures on the right stated they were against political violence and expressed their sympathies. It's the same in the case of the Kirk assassination; the majority of publicly-facing figures on the left have come out against celebrating his death and expressed sympathy (even that loser turk hasan).

Extremists gravedancing over political assassinations is not something exclusive to one "side", and with the direction things have been going I expect it to only get worse.

My theory that grown men who say "OwO" unironically are dangerous to society keeps getting confirmed.

One of my close friends isn't convinced that the rifle presented to us could have been the one that made the shot because of how relatively clean the wound was. I also just want to hear Kiwi's thoughts.
Wound is 100% consistent with .30cal 30-06. Because that is what it was. Thats how bullets work.

this really was the last forum i expected to clutch their pearls at grave dancing. how often are threads made mocking george floyd or dead trannies or whoever the fuck else? don't they also have families and spouses and children too? too funny
Turnabout is fair play.

Mate, I'm a gun neophyte from a country where they're mostly illegal, but even I could hit a man at 200 yards with a bolt action rifle. I've hit man-sized targets at that range easily. They're literally point and click.
. 30-06 was originally specced similarly in terms of useful range to the US Civil War era Sharps rifle (doesn't matter which, .52, .50-70, the later .45s), but those were black powder. Used cartridges, but pre-smokeless powder. The competitions for Sharps spergs these days are generally to hit a man sized target at 1000 yards with iron sights, 800 yards for the carbines, and no spotter unlike most longer ranged competitions.

Everything about the .30-06 spec turned out to be so much in the sweet spot in every way you don't gain much going to magnum rounds like .300 Winchester.

Sharps became legendary because they had those capabilities at a time when nothing else did, but .30-06 had those capabilities in rifles pretty much every US soldier carried in a range of rifles and light machineguns like the BAR.

You don't have to be all that skilled to be decently accurate, even at 300 yards.
