Featured on Sep 10, 2025 by Null: Charlie Kirk, co-founder of Turning Point USA (TPUSA), was assassinated during a Utah Valley University event. FBI states they have video of the shooter but no further details are public.

Charlie Kirk was shot at an event at Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah on Wednesday.

Bystanders report seeing Kirk shot near his neck during a Q&A with students.

A suspect is in custody, according to a UVU alert sent to students. The campus is on lockdown.

Multiple reports currently say Charlie Kirk made it to the hospital and is currently stable but the extent of his injuries and likelihood of recovery isn't currently known. He is in critical condition.

Whoever it was was either a very practiced marksman or had military training. One shot. At that distance, with planning, he also figured he could get away from the scene undetected. Be curious how much security footage they will pull to review. He might have been really familiar with the building, security and how to exit without being captured on video. He obviously knew how waltz out without attracting suspicion. The panic and confusion after these events gave him good cover.

There's shady stuff going on here. The number one thing that bugs me is the possibility the people arrested were pastys that took the heat to distract from the actual shooter. Maybe even spotted the shot for him.

The whataboutism with the Minnesota lawmakers and Mr. Pelosi is weak when the talk among the Right was skepticism of who the attackers were, not that the attacks were a societal good.

I'm glad there was some commentary on this. Everyone seems keen to forget Biden's rhetoric about "right-wing violence" but never had a real bodycount to look at, just the assertion it was a threat. I suppose having a tangible talking point is a good first step, but I won't hold my breath until I see these words backed up with action.
