Charlie Kirk was shot at an event at Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah on Wednesday.

Bystanders report seeing Kirk shot near his neck during a Q&A with students.

A suspect is in custody, according to a UVU alert sent to students. The campus is on lockdown.

Multiple reports currently say Charlie Kirk made it to the hospital and is currently stable but the extent of his injuries and likelihood of recovery isn't currently known. He is in critical condition.

Honestly got curious and checked the old thread as a relative was mentioning him as a Republican shooter. Looking back, the only evidence of it was his registry. Past that, classmate testimonies say he hated politicians with a more specific hatred of Trump, his parents were both lefties (one libertarian), and he was very big on Covid. I am sure I am missing stuff since then, but by all accounts except registry, he seemed to be a product of the left or some apolitical crazy.

On an extremely tangential note Giuliani worked extensively with the FBI back in the day, I don't have the timestamp but in this interview with ex mafia guy Michael franzese he talks about how the FBI is a fucking shell of what it once was and w corrupt it is.

I think Doge did more damage than people realize. They fired a lot of unnecessary people however when they went in they went in with a sledgehammer not a scalpel and took out many competent people.
