Everyone has their own metric really. For me, it's humanities most raw expression. That means I'm going to look uniqueness. Things like randomness, setting, background story, video quality, and perspective all play a roll.

Blood for bloods sake isnt that intetesting to me. Unless the death is unique the leadup and aftermath are what I care about. The better framed the death the more poignant the rest of the video to be sure

Fatal ski crash of Gernot Reinstadler during training, pelvis ripped apart - Lauberhorn, Switzerland (1991.01.18 )


Gernot Reinstadler (24 August 1970 – 19 January 1991) was an Austrian ski racer. He was regarded as among the most promising young talents of the Austrian downhill team of the early 1990s. He died in 1991 after a crash that caused the cancellation of a race. During training for the Lauberhorn race, while entering the finish S, Reinstadler lost control and crashed into safety nets at full speed, where one of his skis became trapped. Reinstadler suffered a significant pelvic fracture and severe internal injuries and bleeding. He died later the same night at a hospital in Interlaken after undergoing several blood transfusions.

Man sets himself on fire and jumps off Liberty Bridge - Budapest, Hungary (2010.05.22)

A man falls to his death from a turret of Liberty Bridge in Budapest, Hungary, after covering himself in flammable liquid and setting himself alight. Firemen had tried for half an hour to convince the man, aged around 40, to come down. His motives for suicide are not known.

Air ambulance plane crashes on a drag strip, medic and pilot killed while co-pilot survives - Akureyri, Iceland (2013.08.05)

A Beechcraft Super King Air 200, Air Ambulance from Air Myflug, crashes on a drag strip in Iceland.

There were three people on board of which the pilot and medic were killed. Miraculously the co-pilot survived with minor injuries. There were no injuries on the ground.


Man jumps from cliff into sea, doesn't quite make it - Santa Ponça, Spain (2022.05.12)

A 31-year-old tourist died after jumping off a high cliff in Mallorca. While his girlfriend and son watched from a distance, the man jumped from a height of approximately 25 meters into the sea. Due to an error in judgment, the jump went completely wrong. According to Spanish media, the man is believed to be Dutch.

The accident happened this afternoon around 2:00 PM off the coast of Santa Ponça, a town in the southwest of Mallorca. The man had rented a boat there with his family.

A video – filmed remotely by his girlfriend – shows the man standing on the cliffs, jumping down, and then hitting the cliff face at high speed. After falling into the water, the man did not resurface.

According to Spanish media, he is believed to have died instantly. His body has not yet been recovered. Spanish authorities are still working on it, reports Diario de Mallorca.


Oslo Pride mass shooting (Zaniar Matapour) - Oslo, Norway (2022.06.25)

The 2022 Oslo shooting, commonly known in Norway as the Pride Shooting in Oslo (Pride-skyting i Oslo), occurred on 25 June 2022, when two people were killed and twenty-one people were wounded in a mass shooting in Oslo, Norway. Police declared the incident as an "act of Islamist terrorism". The target may have been the Oslo LGBTQ pride event, which was hosted by the local branch of the Norwegian Organisation for Sexual and Gender Diversity.

As of 2024, one person has been convicted in a lower court; possibilities for appealing the case have not been exhausted.

Earlier, police arrested Zaniar Matapour, a Norwegian citizen from Sanandaj, Kurdistan Province of Iran, who had lived in Bergen, Norway, since 1991. They later confirmed that they had known of Matapour since 2015, saying that he had been radicalized into Islamic extremism. They also said he had a "history of violence and threats", as well as mental health issues. He has been convicted and sentenced to 30 years in prison for murder, attempted murder, and terrorism.


Migrant being chased shoots 2, kills 1 - Groningen, Netherlands (2022.07.09)

A man was killed in a shooting in the heart of Groningen on Saturday evening. Two others were injured. The police arrested a 24-year-old suspect. A video was made of the incident. Two more drug dealers were arrested in the street last Thursday.

Weapon

These are Wild West images of a shooting that took place around eight o'clock on Saturday evening in the city center of Groningen. A circulating video shows a group of shouting men getting into an argument with another man and chasing him. A woman tries to stop the argument while getting into a car. Some others also try to stop the men who are moving towards their target. From the first images, he already has a gun in his hands.

The man being chased can be seen pulling out the gun. When he gets a bottle of beer thrown at him, he pushes five times in the direction of the group following him. One man from the group immediately falls, another appears to be hit in the stomach. Then the video stops. It is not clear what the argument started about.

Crimesite does not post the video because of the condition of the victims and the privacy of those involved.

It is now clear that a 50-year-old man has died as a result of the shooting. The two other injured people are 47 and 58 years old.

Violence

The shots are fired in Haddingestraat, in the center of the city. Shortly after the incident, police reported that three people were injured, two of whom were taken to hospital. After the incident, an air ambulance landed on Groningen's Grote Markt.

Shots

Around 9:45 p.m., the police indicated that a suspect had been arrested, writes the Dagblad van het Noorden. The police have now confirmed that it is a 24-year-old man from Groningen. The newspaper speaks to a local resident who heard someone shout: 'It's just air.' Other residents of the street say that there are often 'bumblebees' in the street with 'vague people'.

Nothing is yet known about the circumstances of the shooting. However, the police were still active last Thursday at a café in the street. During observations, she observed more than 10 drug deals on the street, from two dealers who also entered this bar. The dealers were arrested.

Teen gets into argument with friend and fatally stabs him before posting onto Snapchat, blames ADHD - Wrexham, United Kingdom (2022.07.11)


Mark Harley Jones admitted killing Kyle Patrick Walley on Sunday, July 11, 2021, as the pair drank heavily prior to the European Championship football final, which they had planned to watch at the latter's flat in Rhosymedre.

He then posted a number of Snapchat stories to his account admitting the offence and also a graphic video of him stamping on Mr Whalley's head while he lay dead in the flat.

But the 19-year-old defendant, from Chester Road in Wrexham, has denied murder, with barrister Gordon Cole QC telling the court that Jones heard voices in his head telling him to harm people because of his deteriorating mental health.

The court also heard that Jones, who has attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), was acting partly in self-defence but the jury was also told to consider whether he intended to kill his victim.

Mr Cole said: "He accepts that he is responsible for the death of Kyle Whalley and that he caused it but he denies murder.

"He is 19, and has ADHD, and a history of post-traumatic stress disorder and a psychiatric illness with an emotionally unstable medical disorder.

"His mental health was deteriorating and he was hearing voices who said that people were out to get him and those voices were urging him to hurt people including himself.

"They had drunk a lot of alcohol and we will put to you that Mr Jones’s recollection of what happened is incomplete."

He continued: "We will put it to you that there was a time when Mr Whalley was violent him and that he also went to him with the knife.

"Mr Jones grabbed the knife off him blade first, hence the deep cut he had on his left hand, and he was panicked so that he struck out once to hit Mr Whalley.

"There were voices in his head telling him to get him, and he accepts that he kicked him repeatedly when Mr Whalley was on the floor.

"It is a question of intention – did he have the requisite intention in law?

"Is there also a part defence of diminished responsibility or a loss of control?"

Earlier, John Philpotts, for the prosecution, told the court the pair had met up to watch the Euro 2020 final but drank heavily, and that Jones had made several threats over two days.

He added that Jones, who was absent from the dock because of his ADHD, was obsessed with knives and intended to kill Mr Whalley that day.

"Mr Whalley never saw the final of Euro 2020 because at 4.47pm that day, before the match even started, he was dead.

"Mark Jones had stabbed him in the heart.

"We say that he murdered him by stabbing him.

"As you will hear, he admits causing the death but he denies that his actions were unlawful and the jury will decide where the truth lies."

In the videos, Jones repeatedly posed with a knife, threatened to stab people for an audience and then posted attacking Mr Whalley's chest.

Mr Whalley was on the phone to a female friend who heard him tell Jones to 'put the knife down'.

Videos recovered from Jones's account via other users that showed him screaming abuse at his dead victim while continuing to stamp on his head and body.

The videos also showed Jones with blood on his left hand and telling his followers that he had just killed Mr Whalley – calling himself a 'murder ting' – and that he had 'done people a favour'.

Mr Philpotts told the jury the fatal wound, measuring above 3cm, penetrated muscle and ribs to pierce the heart and Mr Whalley died from his injuries.

POV high speed Audi R8 crash (290+ kmph) - Rome, Italy (2022.07.25)

A mad rush at more than 300 kilometers per hour ended in tragedy. We are on the Grande Raccordo Anulare, at the height of the Circonvallazione Orientale, where a 22-year-old man of Roma descent, Orsus Brischetto, died after crashing his Audi R8.

In the video we offer here are the before and after of the accident. In the first part of the video we see a person driving a bolide speeding at an insane speed on the junction, in the second part we see what happened after a few minutes, with the tragic accident in which the 22-year-old died. According to the Roman filming of the incident, the R8 apparently caused the accident by going at full speed.

At the moment, however, the dynamics are all to be clarified and there is no evidence to certify what happened. Investigators do not know whether the Audi caused the accident, or whether it was another car that rammed it and then sped away. Also inside the passenger compartment was 20-year-old Nicholas Calì, of Roma descent and also a resident of Aprilia, and also a young pregnant woman. The 20-year-old was transported to the Casilino emergency room, while she was transported to Policlinico Umberto I.

Bratislava gay bar mass shooting (Juraj Krajcík) - Bratislava, Slovakia (2022.10.12)

On 12 October 2022, two people were killed (plus the perpetrator), and a third person was wounded in a shooting outside of the front entrance of Tepláreň, a gay bar in Bratislava, Slovakia, a well-known spot frequented by the local LGBTQ community. The shooting claimed two victims: Juraj Vankulič, a non-binary person, and Matúš Horváth, a bisexual man. The perpetrator was found dead from a self-inflicted gunshot the morning after the attack.

The investigation classified the shooting as a terrorist attack and found that primary targets included high level politicians. According to the shooter's own words in the 4chan thread that he authored, "2-1 kdr, not my problem. wish i couldve gone higher but whatever. wanted to bag the prime minister but i didn't get lucky with his car arriving". The primary target was Eduard Heger; the attack on Tepláreň was a plan B.


Brussels football mass shooting (Abdesalem Lassoued) - Brussels, Belgium (2023.10.16)

The 2023 Brussels shooting was an Islamist terrorist attack carried out at about 19:15 (CEST) on 16 October when Abdesalem Lassoued, a 45-year-old Tunisian living illegally in Brussels, Belgium, opened fire on Swedish football supporters at the intersection of two boulevards just off the Square Sainctelette, leaving two dead and one injured. The victims were on their way to a football match at the King Baudouin Stadium.

Lassoued fled the scene, and soon after a video was posted on social media in which he claimed responsibility for the attack. The Belgian federal prosecutor immediately concentrated its investigation on a terrorist motive. The following morning, Lassoued was tracked down to a café in the Schaerbeek municipality where he was shot by Belgian police and died on the way to hospital. Following the attack, the terror threat level for Brussels was raised from 2 to 4, the highest level. In the rest of Belgium, it was raised from level 2 to 3. After Lassoued's death, Brussels was lowered to level 3, the same as the rest of the country.

Four days after the attack, Belgian Justice Minister Vincent Van Quickenborne resigned after it emerged that an extradition request by Tunisia for Lassoued in August 2022 had not been followed up by Belgian magistrates.

Joona Valtteri Varjus, 21, who caused the death of a 54-year-old taxi driver in Tampere, did not receive relief from the Turku Court of Appeal.

He asked the Court of Appeal to dismiss his manslaughter charge and in any case reduce his prison sentence. However, the Court of Appeal saw no grounds for this.

Accordingly, his unconditional prison sentence of 9 years and 5 months for manslaughter, aggravated drunk driving, aggravated endangering traffic safety and other minor crimes remained in effect.

– There is no reason to reduce the sentence imposed by the District Court, the Court of Appeal ruled in its decision issued on Friday.

Varjus, while heavily intoxicated, crashed into the back of a taxi in a large Hilux SUV belonging to the Defence Forces at the Kuokkamaantie intersection in Tampere early on Saturday, March 9 at 5:53 a.m.

The taxi driver was waiting at a traffic light for the lights to change when Varjus crashed into his car from the south. The taxi driver lost his life immediately in a very violent collision. The collision was recorded on video.

The court found that Varjus must have realized that he could crash into another motorist and cause his death when he crashed. For this reason, the court found him guilty of intentional homicide.

Man was spotted sitting on a barrier on Poniatowskiego Bridge in central Warsaw.

Suddenly he jumped down into Kruczkowskiego Street.

He died on spot. It was a suicide.


Lithuanian truck driver crushes a car from behind - Karviná District, Czech Republic (2024.05.04)

On Sunday, criminal investigators from Karviná charged a fifty-four-year-old truck driver from Lithuania with the crimes of negligent homicide and negligent grievous bodily harm. On Saturday, a man crashed his truck into a parked car on the D1 highway near Bohumín. He pushed the car under the tractor with the tank. He faces up to six years in prison if convicted.

The D1 highway near Bohumín in Karvinska in the direction of Poland was closed for almost the entire Saturday due to this accident. One person was killed and two others were injured. Firefighters managed to open the highway after 9 p.m. on Saturday evening, and only in one lane. A special crane helped them remove the crashed cars and the tank.

The news found out that it was an escort vehicle of a tank that was transported to Saturday's historic military event in Bohumín - Kopytov. The owners of the tank sat in the fabia: the seventy-five-year-old driver, who unfortunately did not survive the accident, and his twenty-four-year-old son. He ended up in a very serious condition in the Ostrava University Hospital, where he was transported by a rescue helicopter. Another man escaped the accident with minor injuries.


Pilot killed after plane crashes into Mediterranean Sea during air show - Lavandou, France (2024.08.16)

A pilot died on Friday after the Fouga Magister jet which he was flying during an airshow in Lavandou, southern France, crashed into the Mediterranean sea, said French authorities.

"The body of the pilot has been recovered," said the local authority responsible for the Var region in southern France.

French authorities added that an inquiry was underway to examine what caused the accident.

The airshow was part of a commemoration of the 80th anniversary of the Allied forces' D-Day landings in Provence.

The airshow had also involved the French Air Force's 'Patrouille de France' aerobatics team, which decided to cancel its demonstration at the event in light of the accident.

The crash comes just two days after two French military jets collided in eastern France, killing two military personnel and leaving a sole survivor.

Chinese man is killed on a residential street - Árvore, Portugal (2024.09.17)

Teens die after hitting foot bridge while subway surfing - Vienna, Austria (2024.10.26)

A teenager has died after hitting his head off a railway bridge as his friends filmed his 'train surfing' exploits for a Tiktok video.

The group of four ‘train surfers’ were riding on the roof of a train at up to 50 kph in Vienna, Austria, on October 26 when the grisly accident occurred. The grim collision has claimed the life of one teen, who died in hospital three days after the incident with a second, who suffered massive head injuries, still fighting for his life.

Meanwhile, the other two are unharmed, and within hours of the deadly smash, a video of their friends’ gruesome injuries on the train roof had been uploaded to social media. The grisly clip starts showing two urban surfers riding on the roof of the train as it roars through the city's Meidling suburb at speeds of up to 50 kph (31 miles per hour).

In the footage, the boys flatten themselves on the roof of the carriage passing under the top of the tunnel with just inches to spare. But as the train comes to a station disaster strikes, when two of the boys have turned their backs to face into the camera and so do not see a low footbridge coming up fast.

One of the group shouts a desperate warning saying: "No, no, no, no!" But they don’t react in time and a split second later there's a sickening crunch as both teens' heads slam into the bridge.

Shockingly the others keep filming and get closer for a gory close up of their two friends as they lay twitching on the carriage roof with blood flowing from massive head injuries clearly close to death. Screams from horrified passengers who had been waiting for the train can be heard coming from the platform as the footage comes to an end.

One 17-year-old was declared brain dead three days later, on October 29, and died when his parents agreed to his life support being terminated, Local media reports on Saturday said. His friend, who is 18, is still fighting for life after he suffered catastrophic head injuries. Meanwhile, their two pals, aged 13 and 16, suffered only minor injuries.

Gangster rapper Gaboro begs for his life but gets shot anyway (POV) - Norrköping, Sweden (2024.12.19)

The footage, reportedly filmed by the gunman himself, captures 24-year-old Gaboro, whose real name was Ninos Khouri, being shot multiple times as he attempted to flee. Police were alerted to the shooting around 8 p.m. local time. Upon arrival, officers found Gaboro with gunshot wounds. He was rushed to the hospital but tragically died from his injuries shortly afterward. As of now, authorities have not made any arrests, and the search for the shooter continues.

Gaboro, who had ties to local gangs and a criminal record that included minor drug offenses, had been active in the Swedish rap scene. His death comes just months after the murder of another prominent Swedish rapper, C.Gambino, who was shot in a parking lot ambush in Gothenburg on June 4. C.Gambino, whose real name was Karar Ramadan, had been named rapper of the year shortly before his tragic death.

Both rappers' murders are believed to be linked to ongoing gang violence in Sweden. The country, which has experienced a troubling rise in gun-related incidents in recent years, had the highest rate of deadly shootings per capita in the European Union in 2023. However, police have reported a decrease in shootings, with a higher rate of cases being solved, thanks to increased surveillance measures.

SUV attack by Saudi refugee kills 6 - Magdeburg, Germany (2024.12.20)

On 20 December 2024, an SUV was driven into a crowd at the Christmas market in Magdeburg, Germany, killing 6 people and injuring at least 299 others. The driver of the car, allegedly 50-year-old anti-Islam activist Taleb Al-Abdulmohsen, was arrested at the scene. German authorities have described the suspect as an Islamophobe. Investigators continue to search for a motive, which remains unknown.


Football player dies after his car went over a guardrail and crashed into a tree - Attard, Malta (2025.01.06)

First road fatality of the year is footballer Alejandro Brincat

A 25-year-old man has died after the car he was driving jumped over a crash barrier in Attard and smashed into a tree and a signpost late on Monday evening.

The victim was later identified as Alejandro Brincat, a father of two and football player with Vittoriosa Stars.

The incident occurred at around 9pm on Mdina Road in Attard, with the man losing control of the vehicle and the Mercedes ending up wedged vertically against the signpost.

Police, CPD and a medical team from Mater Dei Hospital were on site on Monday, closing off the road to extract the driver from the vehicle.

Dashcam video of the crash seen by Times of Malta shows an overspeeding car swerving out of control, hitting a crash barrier and then rising up it, flying into a signpost. Times of Malta is choosing not to publish the disturbing footage.

Within minutes of his death being reported on Tuesday morning, tributes began to pour in for Brincat.

The 25-year-old from Mtarfa is the first road fatality of 2025. Magistrate Ian Farrugia has opened an inquiry into the incident.


One dead and another injured after migrant stabbing attack - Dublin, Ireland (2025.02.15)

A man in his early 30s has died after he was stabbed in Dublin city centre on Saturday morning.

The incident happened at the junction of South Anne Street and Duke Lane Upper at about 03:00.

Another man in his 30s was seriously injured in the incident and is receiving treatment for non-life threatening injuries.

A murder investigation has began and the scene of the incident is still sealed off.

The incident occurred following a row between two groups of people who were out socialising.

Sinn Féin's justice spokesperson called the incident "deeply disturbing" and said it had caused great shock.

Matt Carthy said there was a "serious problem" in relation to public safety in Dublin city centre, and said that there are not enough gardaí (police) on the streets.

I know you have to be suicidally stupid to be train surfing anyways but these people are extra so. I thought the camera guy was going to get got because he kept turning around. Each of them broke the biggest rule of this. Keep looking forward. Nothing is going to sneak up and hit you from behind, but if you turn around, you're just asking to get swiped by something ahead.

Video from a Fairfax County police officer's body camera, made public Thursday, shows an officer fatally shooting a man suffering a mental health crisis in his McLean home July 7 as the man charged at three officers, wielding a wine bottle like a club. The man's parents reacted to the video by saying the killing “cannot be justified,” and noting their son was “5′ 6, slightly built, and holding just a bottle and a decorative mask.”

“We recognize that, at times, police officers face grave and unknown dangers in the line of duty, but that was not the case for that call at our home regarding our son,” the couple said.

Police Chief Kevin Davis said the shooting is still being investigated.

“Our officers were confronted with a very chaotic and dangerous situation,” Davis said in releasing the footage at a news conference. “I want to be careful not to offer any assessments or any opinions,” given the ongoing investigation. “But I think it's clear to see from the video that that was a very active and chaotic incident.”

The deadly encounter began unfolding shortly after 8:30 p.m., when officers arrived in the 6900 block of Arbor Lane. There, in his parents' spacious house, Jasper Aaron Lynch, 26, was behaving erratically in the throes of a mental health crisis, his sister told the officers after meeting them in front of the residence. Lynch's parents were not home and no one else was in the house.

After discussing Lynch's condition for several minutes with the sister, the three officers opened the front doors and stepped into a large foyer area, the video shows. One or more of them called out “Aaron,” as Lynch was commonly known. Lynch suddenly appeared at the opposite end of the foyer, holding a large decorative tribal mask made of wood in one hand and a wine bottle in the other.

In a span of about 20 seconds, officers can be heard urging him at least eight times to “put it down.”

The video shows Lynch yelling as he hurled the wooden mask at one of the officers. Then he charged toward the doorway where the officers were standing, raising the wine bottle by its neck with two hands in what Davis called “an aggressive act.” Two of the officers fired Tasers at him but Lynch kept coming, according to the video.

“I think it's safe to say they were several feet away,” Davis said of the officers. “And both Taser prongs have to hit in order for it to take effect. Again, our investigation will reveal if, in fact, those Tasers hit, if they took effect, and if they didn't, why not.”

As Lynch, wielding the bottle, reached the front entrance, Officer Edward George, a 10-year member of the force, shot him four times. The video shows Lynch collapsing on the threshold and crawling a few feet before being subdued. Asked if it is possible that George mistook his gun for his Taser, the chief said, “There's no preliminary investigative information that I'm aware of that suggests that that's the case.”

Davis said George is on “administrative” working status, with no public contact, pending the outcome of two parallel inquiries, one to determine if the shooting was a crime, the other to ascertain if any department rules were violated. Efforts to reach George were not immediately successful.

“We believe that the three police officers … could have, and should have, handled this far differently,” Lynch's parents, Patrick and Kathy Lynch, said in a statement after the news conference. Describing their son as “scared” by his loss of mental control, they said, “To respond to Aaron's mental health crisis by shooting him at all, let alone multiple times, cannot be justified.”

The couple added, “As parents, we mourn the heartbreaking loss of our son and are left with only memories and regret.”

Davis said he sympathizes with the family and declined to comment on the parents' statement.

Davis said the tragic outcome was rare, given the volume of calls that Fairfax police receive about people in emotional or psychiatric distress. Of the 6,700 such calls that officers have responded to so far this year — an average of about 33 per day — they have used force, lethal and nonlethal, “less than one percent of the time,” the chief said.

The department has embraced “a co-responder philosophy” in which a mental health clinician, when available, accompanies police officers on calls such as the one involving Lynch. Earlier that evening, between 7 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., officers and a clinician went to the Lynch home for an initial report of a mental health crisis. But when they arrived, Lynch had left the house, and officers couldn't find him, police said.

When officers were called again, shortly after 8:30, the clinician — the only one working with police so far — was unavailable.

“This clinician had moved on to another location at the conclusion of his tour of duty to complete some administrative paperwork,” Davis said. He noted that the three officers who responded to the second call had all received advanced crisis-intervention training.

Davis said the department will soon begin phase two of the co-responder program, with two clinicians on the payroll instead of one. Months from now, in the fourth and final phase, the department plans to have 16 clinicians working with officers in the field, the chief said.


Shortly after the police bodycam video was released by Fairfax County police, Jasper Lynch's parents — Pat and Kathy Lynch — released a statement:

"Our son, Aaron, was experiencing a severe mental health crisis on July 7. He was scared and asked for both of the 911 calls that were made that day. We believe that the three police officers who answered the second 911 call could have, and should have, handled this far differently," the statement reads. "To respond to Aaron's mental health crisis by shooting him at all, let alone multiple times, cannot be justified. Aaron was about 5' 6", slightly built, and holding just a bottle and a decorative mask.

"As parents, we mourn the heartbreaking loss of our son and are left with only memories and regret. Had we known there was any possibility that the police responding to the second 911 call would use lethal force against Aaron during a mental health crisis, we would not have involved them until a mental health counselor could be present, as was the case for the response to the first 911 call. We hope our efforts to find out more about this incident will, in the future, help families in similar situations avoid such a tragic outcome."

MCLEAN, Va. — Three Fairfax County Police officers will not face charges, in connection to the shooting death of Jasper Aaron Lynch in 2022.

An officer shot and killed 26-year-old Lynch inside his home in Mclean on July 7, 2022, after they'd responded to calls that he was having a mental health episode.

The FCPD officers were identified as Officers George, Kirsch and Pak.

"My review of this incident leads me to conclude that none of the three officers all of whom used some level of force, violated any criminal laws. I therefore decline to bring criminal charges against Officers Pak, Kirsch or George," wrote Fairfax County Commonwealth Attorney Steve Descano in a release that was posted on Facebook around 5 p.m. on Friday.

Speaking to The San Francisco Standard , Anthony said: 'It's a lot to deal with. It's a lot of pressure. A person can only take so much. When you are limited to certain options, something will happen.'

'Who has my back? Nobody. You are left with no support. It's a frightening feeling with a lot of people around you.'

Last week, a group of community activists gathered outside the Walgreens in downtown San Francisco for a vigil to honor Brown's memory.

The officers backed up, with one seemingly saying "shoot him" to the other. The three officers then pulled their handguns and fired 12 rounds at Tapia.

After Tapia went down, police called for an ambulance and began rendering aid, Denver Police Chief Ron Thomas said in a press conference immediately after the shooting.

Tapia was pronounced dead on the scene and was later identified by the Office of the Medical Examiner. The examiner's office, along with DPD, have yet to be able to locate and notify Tapia's family or friends.

The two officers and one sergeant involved in the shooting have never been involved in a prior police-shooting incident, Clark said. They will be placed on a modified duty status, as they complete DPD's reintegration program while the Critical Incident Response Team investigates the shooting.

"The presence of the knife, the proximity that that individual got to the officers with the knife, I think makes their response appropriate," Thomas said Tuesday.

On 22 March 2001, two Albanian men, a father and a son, were shot dead during a routine search at a police checkpoint. The incident began when their car was stopped and the officer saw the man reach for his pocket. Fearing it was a grenade, the officer panicked and ran. The man exited the car, dropped to his knees, and threw the grenade at the police checkpoint but failed to explode. A cordon of Macedonian troops, positioned behind sandbags, unleashed a volley of gunfire at the Albanian. At first he slumped against the car, then fell on the curb, dead. Moments later the father was also shot as he tried to run from the car. Despite photographic evidence of the grenade witnesses later interviewed insisted the father and son died with mobile phones in their hands, claiming that the pair were victims of revenge by police.


Chechen man slashes throat of a woman, while his friend films him - Dzhigurty, Russia (2011.08.08 )

Salavdi Adamov (26) is a man from Chechnya. In 2011 he murdered two women. One of the killing was recorded by his friend, Beshto Abalaev (22).

In July of 2011, Adamov kidnapped 22 years old woman (surname Maidaeva). He took her in his car to the outskirts of the Bachi-Yurt village. There he strangled her. He did it because of personal hostility.

Around a month later, in the morning of August 8, 2011, Adamov met another young woman (surname no provided). She willingly entered his car, but then he put her in the trunk using force.

In the evening of the same day, Adamov invited his friend, Abalaev, to come and relax in the outskirts of Dzhigurty village.

When they arrived at the spot, Adamov pulled the woman out of the trunk. She threatened to call the police, so Adamov decided to kill her.

Abalaev was reportedly asked by Adamov to film him killing the woman. He started by strangling her, when she passed out, he started to slash her throat.

After she had died, Adamov poured the body in gasoline and burned it.

The video of the killing started to make the round online in November of 2011. In the same month, experts stated that the video is fake.

It's definitely and inscenization. Considering my 30 years of experience in the ministry of internal affairs, I know how a brutal murder looks like. In this case, you can't see the blood splatter on the killer.

It was done primitively, in a hurry and to provocate others. It was made in order to arouse hatred between different nationalities.

On December 24, 2012, Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation reported, that two men would face charges. One for murdering two women. The other for covering the crime.

These two men were Adamov and Abalaev. The committee report even mentions the video filmed on August 8.


Man stabs his girlfriend in the back because she didn't buy him alcohol - Minsk, Belarus (2016.03.25)

TL/DR: Repeat-offender beat the shit out of his girlfriend one night, girlfriend suggests they travel to local store to 'buy him alcohol' and 'make it up' to him as a ploy to get help and escape boyfriend, boyfriend notices what she's up to, boyfriend kills her.

The 360 TV YouTube channel (now terminated, likely as a result of Google's public campaign to censor "Russia-linked influence operations") published the recording of the incident.

The footage, taken by a surveillance camera, shows the two customers talking to a saleswoman at liquor store Pivnaya Zastava on Gromova Street while standing at the counter. Suddenly, the man pulled out a knife and stabbed his girlfriend in the back, after which he fled the crime scene. Thanks to store staff immediately reporting the incident to the police by calling 102, the 41-year-old attacker was detained without delay. Law enforcement officers arrived at the scene almost instantly, and after 10 minutes the suspect was detained based on the reports of a nearby traffic police crew of the Moskovsky District Department of Internal Affairs. He offered no resistance during arrest, and, upon being informed of how severe the injuries he inflicted were, and that his girlfriend was in critical condition, the man confessed to what he had done and declared that he did not intend to kill his partner, but only wanted to injure her, declaring that he did not want “serious consequences to occur [to her].”

Investigation/Why it happened:
Investigators found out that the tragedy in the shop was preceded by a protracted quarrel between the two whereby the man repeatedly beat his girlfriend. The woman had planned the trip to the store, feigning an offering of liquor to her partner as a sign of reconciliation. Instead, she intended to use the trip as a cover to seek help from the police or attract the attention of passers-by. The account that the deceased was attempting to seek protection from her boyfriend was confirmed by the testimony of the saleswoman who witnessed the attack. According to the saleswoman, the deceased had "many bruises across her body." The woman also testified that she had the impression the victim did not intend to buy anything, but that she seemed she wanted to tell her "something, perhaps to ask for help."

“A man and a woman came to the wine and vodka store on Gromova Street,” Oksana Butsaeva, press officer of the Moskovsky District Department of Internal Affairs of Minsk, told reporters. — "The couple spent a very long time deciding on the desired purchase. The sellers noticed that the man was intoxicated, and the woman accompanying him had signs of serious beatings on her face. Previous convictions and additional context of the murderer (what a surprise):
Prior to the murder of his girlfriend, the man had been repeatedly prosecuted under Article 147 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus for intentional infliction of grievous bodily harm, and under Article 186 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus for threatening to kill, inflict grievous bodily harm or destroy property. Moreover, in addition to deprivation of liberty, he was also subjected to such penalties as compulsory treatment for alcohol addiction. At the time of the offence, the man was also evading payment of alimony for his minor child.

Injuries to the woman:
The victim was taken to hospital with a blunt craniocerebral injury of a mild degree, concussion of the brain, a stab wound of the lumbar region with damage to the intercostal artery, a stab wound of the aorta, a blunt abdominal injury and a rupture of the right lobe of the liver. Medics fought for the patient's life for several days, but the woman unfortunately died.








Man kills 2 and himself after setting a dialysis room on fire, due to dispute with another patient - Tirana, Albania (2016.07.25)

A horrifying video has captured the moment an Albanian dialysis patient killed three people by setting a hospital ward on fire.

CCTV footage showed arsonist Lefter Canaj, 57, dousing a male patient in gasoline before engulfing the room in flames at a private American hospital in Tirana, Albania.

The savage attack killed Canaj and two female patients, Sanije Sulaj, and Hani Mal, both 55, and left Dashamir Saraci - who Canaj allegedly argued with - fighting for his life.

The shocking clip starts with Canaj, dressed in white, calmly walking into the ward where four people are receiving treatment and pulling out a bottle of fuel.

He throws the fuel over Mr Saraci, 38, who is receiving dialysis treatment.

Following a tussle the arsonist ignites the fluid, causing a massive explosion.

The patients are seen flailing in agony as the room fills with black smoke and flames.

Ms Sulaj, and Ms Mal died from asphyxiation, according to Albanian news site Albeu.

Local media reported that Canaj died on Tuesday, several hours after he was arrested.

It is thought that Canaj carried out the attack following an argument with Mr Saraci earlier that day while waiting to use the kidney dialysis machine.

He allegedly left the ward in the morning and returned just before 11am to carry out the sick crime.

In a post on Facebook the hospital praised the actions of the nurses, who helped extinguish the fire before firefighters attended the scene.

Car slides into tanker truck, sending it over bridge railing - Ljubljana, Slovenia (2019.11.13)

An accident occurred on the southern Ljubljana bypass at the Malence junction from the direction of Rudnik towards the Golovec tunnel, involving a truck with a tanker and a passenger car. Man slices his own neck to avoid capture by police - Kragujevac, Serbia (2020.01.10)

A man (41), from a nearby suburb, committed suicide today in the center of Kragujevac in front of numerous passers-by. He cut his own throat with a knife, despite the police trying to talk him out of suicide. He raised his hand to himself around 9:30 a.m., in front of the convenience store of a large retail chain, in Ulica Kralja Aleksandra Prvo Karađorđevića.

The gruesome scene disturbed passers-by, and the sidewalk and street were covered in the blood of the unfortunate man. What is the cause of this unusual tragedy is not yet known for sure. Truck trying to overtake crashes into another truck, 1 dead - Racovăţ, Moldova (2020.08.11)

At the time of the overtaking, however, another Volvo truck was coming legally from the opposite direction, driven by a 58-year-old man from the Sângerei district, with which the first DAF truck, which was illegally overtaking, collided head-on, and the Volvo truck's fuel tank was also hit in the impact. As a result of the impact, both trucks that collided head-on caught fire, while the other DAF truck was thrown off the roadway. The cabs of both trucks that collided head-on were severely deformed. Careless bakery worker presses wrong button, resulting in her co-worker's death - Baku, Azerbaijan (2022.01.07)


The trial of the criminal case opened in connection with the death of a woman in a bakery in Baku has ended.

Big fire causes fireworks explosion in market, killing 2 - Yerevan, Armenia (2022.08.14)

A strong explosion at a fireworks storage area tore through a popular market in Armenia’s capital on Sunday, killing at least two people, injuring 60 others and setting off a large fire.

Firefighters labored into the night after the early afternoon blast at the Surmalu market to put out the blaze that sent a towering column of thick smoke over the center of Yerevan. Rescue workers and volunteers searched amid still-exploding fireworks for victims who might be trapped under slabs of concrete and twisted metal.

Emergencies Minister Armen Pambukhchyan said the ministry has received 20 reports from people who said they could not locate their relatives after the blast. Ten injured people and one dead victim were pulled from the rubble, according to the national health ministry, which also gave the casualty toll.

Metal pressure cylinder flies out of the car and ricochets towards man after natural gas explosion - Samarkand, Uzbekistan (2023.02.25)

The video actually captures a CNG refueling station for cars in the Uzbek city of Samarkand. It was there that an explosion occurred during the refueling of compressed natural gas, causing a metal pressure cylinder to fly out of the car.

According to the local department of the Uzbek Ministry of Emergency Situations, the accident took place on Sunday, February 25, 2023, while refueling a Chevrolet Nexia-3 vehicle at a gas station on Mirzo Bedil Street (.pdf, p. 1). The flying pressure cylinder killed a gas station worker, but no one else was injured, and no fire occurred. A man is killed and his son injured due to a personal feud - Tshkhinvali, South Ossetia (2023.02.28 )

Man stabs himself multiple times on Tiktok livestream - Kaunas, Lithuania (2023.05.03)


In the early hours of Wednesday, a gruesome suicide was broadcast live on TikTok. The man, 40 years old, who was broadcasting from Kaunas, made messages that he was going to kill himself, and then, after turning on the camera, he deliberately began stabbing himself.

The man, identified by Bosnian media as Nermin Sulejmanovic from the northeastern Bosnian town of Gradacac, first posted an extremely disturbing video on Instagram on Friday morning, telling viewers that they would see a murder live.

The video then shows him taking a gun and firing a bullet into the forehead of a woman. The distressed cries of the couple's baby daughter can also be heard in the video.

Sulejmanovic, 35, confirmed he had left the infant alive.

Some days before the attack he posted video complaining about local official, especially the chairman of the local council. In short, from what I understand, he was angry that his collegues got more money. I don't speak ukrainian so hopefully someone can translate.

One person died in a hospital. He was identified as 55 years old Victor Pryadilya from Berezniki. He earlier got one leg amputated. Now it's 22 injured (including the perpetrator), one dead.


Greek mafia unload over 80 bullets on man sitting in his car - Athens, Greece (2024.01.14)

"According to the initial investigation, this appears to involve a conflict arising from personal relationships which then escalated, but there is no threat to the safety and well-being of others," he said. "This is an extreme case where, based on the initial suspicions, the violent act committed by these two youths led to the victim's death."
