This thread serves as a good reminder it really doesn't make a huge difference how safe you try to be, many causes of death cannot be forseen and are just completely out of your ability to control. Often, death doesn't even come for the one who fucked up, it comes for the people around the fuckup and THAT is scary. Like how drunk drivers are more likely to survive a car accident.

The Amsterdam criminal Marchano Pocorni was liquidated last night in Paramaribo. The Surinamese police confirm this. The 37-year-old Pocorni was also the target of a liquidation attempt in Amsterdam: in October, two gunmen opened fire in café De Zon in Pretoriusstraat in Oost, where Pocorni often visited.
Pocorni was shot dead by unknown persons around 4 a.m. in a café on the corner of Wolframstraat and Heliumstraat in North Paramaribo. An unidentified second man was injured. The police have not yet made any arrests.
The café where Pocorni was shot dead is a club and shisha lounge, called PP Shisha Lounge, where the Sunday Sinners party was organized yesterday.
Last fall, two gunmen had already tried to shoot Pocorni dead in café De Zon in Pretoriusstraat - which his girlfriend is co-owner of. Pocorni and his friend Benito P. were unharmed, but a 32-year-old customer was shot in the head and a 48-year-old man was hit in the leg.
Pocorni was mainly known as a burglar and robber before he shot dead the Amsterdam Moroccan Najeb Bouhbouh in front of the Crowne Plaza hotel in Antwerp on October 18, 2012, according to the investigation, together with Rida Bennajem. That murder was a catalyst in the underworld feud in which more than twenty Amsterdam criminals have now been murdered.
Bouhbouh was a good friend and business partner of professional criminal Gwenette Martha (herself liquidated in Amstelveen on May 22 last year).
Shortly after Bouhbouh's liquidation, Pocorni stood out because he suddenly spent a lot of money. He bought cars, including a Mercedes A-class, and expensive gifts for his girlfriend, such as a Cartier watch worth more than a thousand euros and a Louis Vuitton bag worth around 650 euros. In an overheard telephone conversation he promised to 'make her a real Estelle Cruijff'. "Hey, you're going to be the wife of a real top criminal."
Pocorni himself did not find it useful that throwing money around made him look like 'a millionaire', but yes, he did 'completely feel like the man'.
During a raid on the house in West where the Pocorni family lived, large amounts of money were found in a cupboard, in denominations of 500 euros.
The courts could not prove that Pocorni was indeed one of Bouhbouh's murderers. However, he was sentenced to a modest prison sentence because of his expenses.
While courts could not punish Pocorni for the liquidation of Bouhbouh, the underworld did. After escaping the Wild West shooting in café De Zon in October - with an automatic weapon, he fled to Suriname. His rivals still got him last night (eight o'clock in the morning Dutch time).

News reports from the island stated that the incident occurred at Swan Street, Bridgetown, Barbados at about 14:45 pm on Saturday.

A young man identified as Jimmy Thomas has been shot dead by unknown gunmen Tuesday night, May 24.
A source told salemgists that Thomas was shot dead by the assailants suspected to be armed robbers who robbed him of his gold chain.
The source further said the deceased was shot multiple times to the head and body by two robbers who attacked and shot him six times
In a video sighted by salemgists, Jimmy put up a fight upon sighting the robbers, but the suspects who had a gun overpowered him and shot him six times.
The robbers defeated him and took his gold chain on his neck, they removed something from his pocket and fled the scene.
Jimmy who was soaked in his blood was confirmed dead on the spot.

A motorcyclist died from injuries he sustained when he collided into a minibus while performing a stunt on the St Margaret's Bay main road in Portland on Saturday.
A video of the two-vehicle bang-up has gone viral on social media.
The deceased is Rushawn Miller of Black Hill district, Portland.
Police reported that about 3:15 pm on Saturday, Miller was driving the motorcycle when he attempted to do a 'wheelie' and lost control of the unit, which slammed into a white minibus that was being driven in the opposite direction.
Miller was flung from the motorcycle upon impact, and sustained multiple injuries. He died at hospital.
In the viral video that appeared to have been recorded by another motorcyclist, Miller can be seen driving on both sides of the roadway.
He then attempted to drive the motorcycle on one wheel across the median into the opposite side of the roadway, where he was hit by the oncoming minibus.
"No fadda Gad (God), no!" shouted the videographer after the collision occurred.
Miller was seen lying on the side of the road before the video ended.
There have been mixed reactions to the video on social media, with some persons blaming the motorcyclist for causing his own death, while others insisted that the minibus driver should have slowed down.
"I'm praying for him (the motorcyclist) and his family. We all did silly stuff when we were young. It's not the time to play blame game," said a man on Facebook.
"The bus driver could have slowed down when he saw him (the motorcyclist) from afar," a woman suggested.
"Young people do crazy things. Prayers for his family," she added.
Another woman disagreed with that view, arguing that the bus driver should not be blamed.
"He (motorcyclist) was the one who swerved into the bus. Watch the video again," she stated.

Police reported that about 3:15 pm on Saturday, Miller was driving the motorcycle when he attempted to do a 'wheelie' and lost control of the unit, which slammed into a white minibus that was being driven in the opposite direction.
Miller was flung from the motorcycle upon impact, and sustained multiple injuries. He died at hospital.
In the viral video that appeared to have been recorded by another motorcyclist, Miller can be seen driving on both sides of the roadway.
He then attempted to drive the motorcycle on one wheel across the median into the opposite side of the roadway, where he was hit by the oncoming minibus.
"No fadda Gad (God), no!" shouted the videographer after the collision occurred.
Miller was seen lying on the side of the road before the video ended.
There have been mixed reactions to the video on social media, with some persons blaming the motorcyclist for causing his own death, while others insisted that the minibus driver should have slowed down.
"I'm praying for him (the motorcyclist) and his family. We all did silly stuff when we were young. It's not the time to play blame game," said a man on Facebook.
"The bus driver could have slowed down when he saw him (the motorcyclist) from afar," a woman suggested.
"Young people do crazy things. Prayers for his family," she added.
Another woman disagreed with that view, arguing that the bus driver should not be blamed.
"He (motorcyclist) was the one who swerved into the bus. Watch the video again," she stated.

The Government of the capital issued a statement in which it provided details of the incident, noting that the minor was walking unaccompanied by an adult and contrary to the warnings issued by the Civil Defense and the Institute of Meteorology about the dangers of moving in flooded areas.
"On Monday afternoon, an incident occurred at the intersection of Vía Blanca and Villanueva, in the municipality of Habana Vieja. A minor who was walking alone through that flooded area after the heavy rains, unaccompanied by an adult and contrary to the warnings issued during the day and in previous days by the Civil Defense and the Institute of Meteorology, did not notice the presence of a culvert, which with the force of the water sucked him in," the statement said.
The local government informed that, upon receiving the emergency call to 106 , rescue and salvage efforts were immediately initiated with the forces of the Ministry of the Interior trained to deal with this type of contingency.
The authorities of the Communist Party, the Government and local firefighters were present in the area.
Despite this statement, citizens, in social networks, have criticized the absence of signage and protection in the open sewers, as well as the delay in the response of the authorities to prevent this type of tragedy.

For context, I found this YouTube video featuring multiple student videos of the Parkland shooting, and in the second video featured, there's a Snapchat showing gunshots ringing through a classroom, but it's cut off on every news report, but according to one comment, the full video featured dead bodies and the students running out of the classroom, but I don't know where to find it.
