This is my all time favorite King Cobra JFS video and essential viewing for anyone interested in the golden age of him. Cannot recommend this video enough to people here whether you're new and just found out about him or want some of his more obscure stuff. To summarize super stoned Cobra waves his wand around while eating cup of Noodles controlling the thunder and it's super kino and hilarious.

I hope Cobes is able to find an unalive, consenting, cisgender, female, heterosexual, of age ghost chick in the afterlife.

Does Gerard Way know about Shon?

He has a puppet just like that in his new tour. He named it The Gentleman.
Extremely late and possibly very gay, I am 99% certain that Gerard Way knows about Shon. I'd have to rewatch/listen to the memorial stream to be exact but Chauncey explained quite a few things about various celebs he has/had access to through his job as a tour manager and exposing them to Cobra via Deathbed Tapes. It's an overall very beautiful stream celebrating the boglim so if you have the free time and need something to enjoy your food with, it's there.

Their was a part of me that was hoping after Clint made his video that the hospital called him and said that there was a miracle and Josh started breathing on his own again but that's just me living in denial it still doesn't feel real to me a day from now a week from now a month from now and a year from now it still wont feel real.

I know Jorsh wasn't really much of a gamer but I'm still surprised he never got into the Castlevania series, or hell, even the Netflix show/adaptation.
He had Devil May Cry 1 on his Playstation profile. That game has some pretty goff themes with the puppets in the cathedral. Whether that was him or someone else getting the trophies I don't know.

Personally I think the probability of NAL having anything to do with his death is extremely low. Not impossible, but I wouldn't put money on it. All his symptoms point to something like acute pancreatitis.

One thing I do think NAL was being somewhat truthful about was the amount of drinking Cobes did. He learned after a couple episodes to hide it from his stream because daddy Clint would come down on him. He most likely was wasted most of the time. I used to think that as his level of alcoholism he would have a few years left, but now I think I underestimated the severity of his alcoholism. Especially when Ozzy died, I'm sure every second he wasn't on camera he was drunk out of his mind. His body was enduring so much, constant drinking, constant smoking, poor nutrition, probably some nutrient disorders. Diseases of the teeth of course are famously more taxing on the body than they appear and can even lead to death themselves. I think an acute pancreatitis attack or something similar was entirely capable of toppling the house of cards his body was teetering on.

Yeah, there's a lot of things he knew to hide from his streams. Such as beating the fuck out of his fridge.

I've been a fairly long term yet casual Cobra enjoyer, I think I've made just a couple posts in this thread, but have talked about Cobes with friends for going on years now. Sharing the good times, commiserating at his worst times, and relishing in the infinite quotability of this strange internet goth cowboy. I don't think I could have estimated the feeling of a vacuum him passing so suddenly was, no final arc, life ain't fair, trole. His struggles with substances reminds me a lot of the memoriam at the end of PKD's "A Scanner Darkly" (edited below)
This has been a novel about some people who were punished entirely too much for what they did. They wanted to have a good time, but they were like children playing in the street; they could see one after another of them being killed—run over, maimed, destroyed—but they continued to play anyhow. We really all were very happy for a while, sitting around not toiling but just bullshitting and playing, but it was for such a terrible brief time, and then the punishment was beyond belief: even when we could see it, we could not believe it.

Drug misuse is not a disease, it is a decision, like the decision to step out in front of a moving car. You would call that not a disease but an error in judgment. When a bunch of people begin to do it, it is a social error, a life-style. In this particular life-style the motto is “Be happy now because tomorrow you are dying.” But the dying begins almost at once, and the happiness is a memory. It is, then, only a speeding up, an intensifying, of the ordinary human existence. It is not different from your life-style, it is only faster. It all takes place in days or weeks or months instead of years. “Take the cash and let the credit go,” as Villon said in 1460. But that is a mistake if the cash is a penny and the credit a whole lifetime.

I am so glad i've seen so much appreciation online for Josh, he had a shocking amount of reach for the low-key life he lived. He always shows up in the weirdest places. Unfortunately, I was at work when I saw Clints video, so I was restricted in what I could combo from the local gas station. This is half Peachy Keen monster, Half mountain dew, with Trolli peach ring garnish. Unironically, I think the mountain dew vastly improved the taste of the monster, this was a basic, yet legitimately dank drink combo, as the king himself would say "Thats pretty good, toobz". Thanks for the memories, dood, I hope you're enjoying the absolute feast of ghost food, wherever you are.

Edit: another one liner that came to mind is "MOUNTAIN DEW SAVED THAT DOGS LIFE"

This is one of my personal top Josh lines, It's a perfect blend of Cobes being a normal, Mountain dew loving american (whose been patriotic for many years), and this mystic shaman healer, with ancient knowledge that uses nature to cure disease.

I have great news, toobz. Cobes cannot keep the ghost ladies off him. Been ouijaing and astral traveling and you'll all be happy to know the Cobra harem grows as he meets more ladies he has things in common with:

Was he just too regarded for video games? He never really got into them besides killing hookers and of age females in GTA 5

I was coping for a long time that
"plenty of people drink way more and they make it to their 50's and 60's",
"I've seen examples and known people who were chemically dependent on alcohol/drugs, who did go on to die while seeking treatment, and they seemed much worse than Cobes",
and lastly
"He's barely in his mid 30's, people like Cobes are built to last, and something will probably happen that ends in him cleaning up his act".

The reality seems to be though, I was just wrong, and everything that Josh was doing to his body did a lot more damage than I previously thought he was doing.

It feels especially bad though because in my mind, Josh was on the way up. I hadn't been keeping up with him as much I had in years past, but from the times I did see him, things seemed to be going better for him. I knew he was still drinking himself silly, but my hope was that with more fame Josh might have been able to find himself in a situation where he became surrounded by people who'd advocate for him to drink less, and maybe start working towards a truly better life. Again though, I was wrong.

I think the last thing that really rubbed me the wrong way though was that this could some how be related to the passing of Walt and Ozzy. It's upsetting to think that a 70 something y/o man who Josh only really knew for a few years somehow had that level of impact on him, because the reality is they should have not had much in common, or been that close, at least IMO. It's like adopting a 12 year old dog, you know your days with it are numbered, so you shouldn't get too attached.

Then with Ozzy, I know Josh has loved him for years and years, but it's like, come on, he's just a musician. The parasocial relationship Josh had with him was funny, but the fact that it actually resulted in such depression and self destructive behaviors, it really upsets me to think that these kinds of situations are pushed in any way.

He wasn't much of a gamer, he was more of a fitness youtuber like Rich Piana

What’s stuck with me is Josh’s obsession with the number “34” and how he almost knew that was the age he was going to die. This was during the first apartment time, he would use “34” seconds in his microwave bursts almost as much as 4:20. I spent some time searching lolcowgo.net and it kinda scared me.

Maybe someone can make a shitty YouTube slop video on how Josh made a deal with devil to live a hedonistic lifestyle but had a ticking clock over his head the whole time.

I don't believe she had anything to do with his death, but if his fans want to direct their pain at her I couldn't think of many more deserving than her.

Fuck sickos and fuck Jessica Boyle.

Seeing young josh compared to 2025 josh is making me seriously consider never touching another drop of alcohol again
Genuinely you shouldn't.
That was one of Cobes' most best qualities. He really unintentionally showed how ugly addiction could be and I have seen a lot of people slow down on alcohol through the years because of him.
Plenty of people I know have been destroyed by or are on the way to being destroyed by alcohol.
I know it is a social thing but if people can't socialize without drinking retard juice then it isn't really worth hanging out with them.
