The big points the defense brought up were:
  • Mary had hearing issues and ADHD, so her testimony isn't reliable.
  • Dave directed his want for the 10K at Joe, so Mary wasn't harassed about that in particular.
  • Dave was practicing free speech and is a journalist.
  • Mary got the detail about the child porn wrong, so her testimony couldn't be trusted.
  • Mary could have rolled up her window when Dave was berating her
  • Dave was just trying to seek justice for all the wrong done to him :crocodile:
  • Joe and Mary considered a slander and libel lawsuit against Dave in order to silence him. But decided against it when they realized Dave is as broke as a joke.
These are some arguments that stuck out to me at least.

Edit: frankly, there was no defense that could really stand up to exhibit 4. I feel like that was the smoking gun, it was basically an admission of guilt on Dave's part.

Nothing dramatic. The judge asked if Dave was going to take the stand and he meekly declined the offer.

By being excessively nice, to the point we reward predators and punish victims because calling out disgusting vile predators is somehow mean. We should sympathize with criminals and demonize their victims. This shit is sick and insane.

I tried to search for any person convicted of stalking their parents and I couldn't find any results no matter how I worded it. Is this guy actually the first ever confirmed convicted stalker child? I know parents can and do get restraining orders on their crazy ass adult children but this seems unheard of.

My prediction is probation and no contact with the victims, no jail time.

I reckon deferred incarceration with probation. I hope for some community service gathering trash - if sentencing is in October, that should land Dave outdoors in winter.

Narcs aren't good at being told what to do, so fingers crossed for an extension or revocation. I'd love him to get sent away, even though he'd probably be put in a female prison (has Trump fixed this yet?). I'd like to see him spin his BLM bullshit on some strong independent women. At least he'd lose some weight, there's no way he'd keep hold of his commissary.

I have done jury service. In one of the cases, there was overwhelming evidence of Very Bad Things. We summoned the clerk after about 10 minutes and he certainly did not ask us to hang out a bit longer, because a quick decision may leave doors open on appeal. That definitely did not happen, no sir.
Later found out that defendants had over 160 arrests between them and a number of previous convictions.

I look forward the the coming explosion. Dave will either go off like a rocket in the next 48 hours or retire to his nest to nurse his wounds and plot his revenge, which might take about a week.

No, he got convicted of an E felony. 1-4 in prison, or 1 year in jail; fine of up to $10,000. The judge could theoretically sentence them consecutively and make him do 8 years in prison.

I think he will get Suspended Execution of Sentence probation (so it will be a conviction) and a 120 days of shock time. Usually you can plea these down to Suspended Imposition of Sentence (No conviction, Cocaine Nick style.) probation with no time - but he's been a real fucker about the whole thing, isn't a youthful offender, and doesn't seem to have been a good boy on bond. Also, the fact that he made his own parents feel threatened enough to pursue felony charges means something.

He's probably going to say some really retarded shit in his Sentencing Assessment Report. Their favorite game is to talk about how you were recalcitrant and didn't show remorse at your interview.

Look, I fucking *despise* Dave, and I’ve been aware of him for 9 years. Even if he wasn’t a troon, I’d still feel this way due to how much of a useless NEET, narcissistic monster, and pathological liar he is. Of course, him being a troon only makes him worse in my book, given how much I virulently hate troons as well.

BUT…as tempting and satisfying as it would be have been to motherfuck Dave six ways to Sunday from the position of juror, I wouldn’t be have been able to do it. And that’s because I have too much respect for the sanctity of our legal system to dirty it like that, not to mention how much I’d hate it if the shoe was on the other foot and I had partial jurors deciding my fate.

Trump doesn’t run state prisons. Anyway Missouri puts trannies in men’s prisons, and recently stopped providing titty skittles etc to prisoners (not that Dave uses them).
