I have a strong feeling they don't view it as a priority matter because he is currently unlicensed with no real indication that he'll ever bother reactivating. They'll either get around to it when they do or perhaps if he completes his CLEs and moves to change his status back to active.

I'm not sure whether that's nearly automatic or whether they can deny it.

That is the "initial" assessment and investigation tho. If things move on from there in a disciplinary context it stops being about deadlines and timelines and becomes in some ways much more serious, I believe. But who knows?
