The Dorontabi shit i remember happening around 2020 or 2021, i remember seeing people joking about how weird japanese people were at the time quoting and circulating these tweets a lot throughout the internet making fun of it until it became unironic and cemented as part of pedophile culture.

Ive been a viewer for a very long while, finally made an account on the site itself.
While I've never cared for Internet drama, a great part of my weeks for the past 5 or so years have been Listening to Josh passionately prattle on about what his favorite fat men and women are up to this month.
I hope to find things im interested on this site so I can participate more and more, rather than staring from outside the cage. The current VTubers VS Josh debacle has been entertaining, maybe I'll start there.

I only ask cause I saw FlamencoTV & Metokur in the chat as well as what looked like Pippa's account but I don't remember her having japanese in her channel name. I know you can change it so if she did that's probably it but people fake channels all the time.

This kind of shit. Is what I was talking about a month or so back. People aren't willing to just be funny anymore. They're worried about how it looks to the people on their side. The far right is just as cucked, and gay as the far left. Both eat themselves, and are humorless faggots.

I've ended up watching a couple of podawfuls things over the last few months, and he is one of the only people that is in this area that is willing to just do what is going to be the funniest option. I need to watch more of his stuff. Every time I do, it's pretty funny.

Maybe I haven't been making it very obvious, but the reason why this was a no-win scenario for Sam is because the criticism that he is a bad comedian is accurate, and the criticism that he is a big dumb wigger is accurate. Step outside of the scenario where it's a big dumb guy that you hate being heckled by someone that you like, and imagine it's Gator showing up on stage with Null, and then Null says to him "goo goo gah gah you stinky, take a shower you stinky". How could Gator, known for his charisma and his wit, react to this sudden and unexpected insult to his entire brand? The best he could possibly do is say "Oh, I don't watch Kouseki Bijou doing those videos because it's cringe". This is the scenario with Harland pulling out the cunnilingus joke, the best way Sam could have responded was to acknowledge "yea that was a bad joke". Imagine it's Ethan Ralph on stage with James Metokur, and Jim starts shaking a bottle of pills, the best Ralph could possibly do is play along with the joke and act like he isn't offended, but he's still going to have a bruised ego. That is the scenario with Harland asking Sam to build a gorilla nest. What I am disagreeing with people on is not that Sam made an ass out of himself, what I'm disagreeing with is that Harland is actually a super comedian that beat Sam because he's better at being mean. Harland won because he knew how to insult Sam in a way that would actually offend him, and he knew Sam would not be willing to humiliate himself by agreeing to be mocked.

I don't know man, Sam could have easily won that one by playing along and saying "You see, I learned that you want to make it like a wet yogurt." Trying it back to the trailer and not actually using his mouth like the people did in his skit, but acting like he's doing an instructional video while point to the salmon in different spots with his finger. Maybe that's not the best response but it's better than what he had, and I'm sure someone could have figured out an even better option on the spot.
