If he had gone full gorilla mode, built the nest, jumped on the table beating his chest, went ook ook ook at Harland and swang from the ceiling like a monkey that would have been hilarious to the Sam Hyde fanboys. He could have still gotten his roid-rage out by taking the cookie box with the seed oil cookies and ripped it in half and smashing all the cookies with his big gorilla fists making a big mess to clean up in the process cause he is an UnCaGeD WiLd GoRiLlA that would have been a way to get back at Harland for making him do that that isn't destroying expensive equipment while still making a big mess. But no he had to go for the most gay option and that's because he is a faggot.

I don't see your point because none of this conflicts with the definition of memes, or how fickle and nebulous human nature is. It's kind of the whole reason why a new word was invented. To be distinct from physical, tangible genes, for which you could make solid arguments about one being scientifically more resilient than another.

You didn't give an explanation for how the pedo emoji memes propagated and survived for over four years.
 
Sam was doing a show in my area once and during the meet n greet i didnt know what to say or ask or whatever so i asked if they knew how to fent fold for a picture.
Nick and Charls thought it was a funny idea and did it but Sam was like “sorry dude not doing that”.
Same energy as the Harland thing. Otherwise he was pretty cool in person but the dude is deathly afraid that someone is trying to punk him at all times and has no idea how to walk it off if it were to happen.

I don't see why you think I need to if my position is that memes are not inherently valuable and are just potentially solipsistic reflections of what is. What do you think is contested here?

DDG and Google are not the only options. I quite like Startpage and Yandex used to be decent, but they made some kind of AI update recently and it feels gayer now.

When the fad first started i was very live and let live kind of position, after all it just looked like the next step for streaming of using a scrimblo character or animay instead of your face if you are shy or are a creative and want to evolve from pngtubing (ev&doe disembodied voice is objectively the superior choice) but as time went on and i absorbed knowledge through osmosis via friends or fandoms shit was rubbing me the wrong way.

It's so weird, too. Because Sam has done ridiculous shit during interviews before, like speaking in a Jamaican accent for most of it, but apparently having a bit of fun with Harland is too much for him. The whole Candy Man thing wasn’t too long ago either, so I believe the fact that his anti-Indian rant video got noticed went to his head, and now he wants to be a big serious boy who babbles about Jews and Indians during a comedy podcast.
