Oh you sweet summer stalker child. Perhaps you haven't seen the playthrough of this magnest opus.
I was not aware of how much I used ellipses at the end of discussions until HO pointed the ...'s out in his game. Now I actively try to avoid doing it.View attachment 7654542
Oh wow, that's some shit writing, worse than expected.
And I am saying that as someone who uses elipses quite a lot myself
I've not played this game, but from the several videos I've watched covering the game, a consistent complaint is that there is too much writing and not enough gameplay and this dude isn't adding fucking any? What is the point of it being early access then? This game has like 2 wario ware style minigames and that's fucking it?As always, writing is the lions share of work left in the game. It takes time but I will keep releasing monthly updates until it is done.
Ooh, the promised update is finally upon us. Let's see if this was worth the wait... ...... ... ......... ... ...... ......

Not sure what regex you're using, but this seems to catch ellipses better:Correct:

Really hope the enum.value_17 is just an artifact from decompiling and he hasn't really called his enums value_17, value_18 etc. that would be the cherry on top of his shit coding pie.Correct:

Isn't the point of an enum that you can name it anything you want too?Really hope the enum.value_17 is just an artifact from decompiling and he hasn't really called his enums value_17, value_18 etc. that would be the cherry on top of his shit coding pie.
Jason claims his game has 100s of routes, but look at something like Star Ocean 2 (the remake rules btw).like persona 3/4/5 non story event.
The game would have to have characters for this.Jason claims his game has 100s of routes, but look at something like Star Ocean 2 (the remake rules btw).
The game has 99 short epilogue scenes, depending on who you took in your party and your friendship level with them, you can't get all in one playthrough. What if Jason means something like this? Just scenes at the end with different people showing up and droping one line.
For Star Ocean this was just a fun thing for the player before the Internet could spoil something like this for you, for Jason it's a selling point and his genius.
Has this ever happened before with other lolcows? The only thread I somewhat followed was Keffals's before this one existed and even then I lurked without an account. You have truly fucked up when your thread grows this big this fast.
I know, watched one of those videos and he went on a tangent for what felt like 20 mins to explain for his audience what a union is. That was my tell how young and american people are lol.i mean he became the go-to source by EN Voice actors
who didnt even know what was going on with their SAG-AFTRA strike thing
so ppl view him as a reliable source of information
It's not even that. His thread blew up around a year ago in the first place, when he shit talked Ross Scott and SKG. That was the first fucking instance of people seeing him as a narcissistic nepobaby, who doesn't really know what he's talking about. The WoW drama came a bit later and was a nice amplifier of people seeing through him.1000 pages all because the guy didn't use the Archmage robes, mana potions or the mana gem in hardcore World of Warcraft. What an achievement.
Yes but a decompiler is being run on the already compiled code meaning that it's very likely the decompiler knows its an enum but the names are stripped out when compiling.Isn't the point of an enum that you can name it anything you want too?
He is clearly not cut out to be a game dev, but he is more than capable of being our lolcow.seeing that 1k being met, on his fucking birthday is a bad omen of what's to come.
there is no coming back for him at this point. he's already firmly set in his mald ways.
a simple: "Shieet maybe I was a bit wrong on a few things" is something anyone, no matter your creed, race. autistic jagged alliance
can agree, would be out of character for him. it's one thing if only one group of people hates your ass.
but when every group can agree your shit is fucked. you need to rethink some things.
he is incapable of doing this.
look at that 1k number and really let all the shit he's doing settle in.
it's fucked.
I'm surprised this guy hasn't left the internet. His recent spergout was legendary, his career is not going to recover. Is Pirate Software a fraud? Explaining why Heartbound development will never finish.
Sungrad Studios Explains why Pirate Software's programming skills are considered "bad" and why Heartbound most likely won't ever be finished.
Oh hell, I did a PirateSoftware and didn't give this guy the most basic of reacharounds!OK, so I don't know whether this guy is jumping on the #metoo bandwagon, but he's dumping on Jason for not supporting his petition against big publishers pushing out patents that screw over smaller game companies. A worthy cause indeed.
He approached Jason after the whole WoW and Pvt Parts debacle (he had videos covering them both), so he should really have known that Maldo wasn't in a position to stick his neck out for anyone else.
Anyway, long story short; Maldo ignores this guy till it's too late and he's as useful as a lead balloon after SKG, he tells him politely to piss off and then releases his own 'Nintendo Bad' video (this Run n Gun dude has a hard on for nintendo going down over the patents thing).
Our dollarstore Ross then realises that he's been iced out of any sort of credit and a reach-around from Jason and decides to post this video calling out Maldo for being... well, basically himself.
