I bought Minecraft around 10 times (myself, gf, kids, friends of kids) many years ago, I believe right when the multiplayer combat code was released. Then Mojang sold Minecraft to Microsoft; Microsoft demanded all Mojang accounts be converted to Microsoft accounts, MS account creation was bugged as hell and wanted phone verification for every account, the deadline passed, all non-migrated accounts were deleted... and now I own Minecraft 1x despite having bought it 10x.
