There didn't used to be a super yacht competition. 40 years ago having a super yacht meant you were a major drug smuggler like Scarface. CEO's and upper management had to settle... sigh...with owning a large mansion on a golf course and owning a couple exotic cars.

Now they get to buy goddamn islands, multiple mansions, build their own gold courses, own a FLEET of super yachts.

Like I said, I originally had it explained to me in the late 90's that 1990-2005 is the range for 'millenial' with the explanation given that they were the generation around the turn of the millenium. I've watched it since over the years be pulled back from 1990-2005 to apparently 1980-1995.

Give it another twenty and I'll be a zoomer lmao. People are just allergic to getting old, and being lumped into a group everyone likes to blame everything on, there's not really any better answer as to why this has occurred. imo. To me, I'll always remember it as '95-'05.

If you didn't know, this is a common phenomenon and has been since at least... 2014? 2017 at the latest, where various websites from wikipedia to news orgs will 'update' their old pages cryptically. I know wikipedia is supposed to have revision histories but they often don't for shit like this.

I mean I don't really freak out about it anymore, but we do in fact live in a form of that shit from 1984 where reality itself gets retconned. Sorry if that news alarms you.

Anyway, point being, to put it as bluntly and directly as I can to you; the point you keep trying to insinuate is incorrect. My memory on this is sterling because for whatever reason it really stuck in my craw when I first saw the date revised around 2006-2008 in various articles to the '1984-2000' number.

Gambling tax is still because it's pretty much unenforceable. It's like taxing unrealized gains, it makes no sense in practice.

A very small amount of poker players, only those who do it as a full time job report earnings. Even then, there is no way to verify losses. What is the definition of a loss? Do u have to track every hand I lose, down to folded blinds?
Do I track losing sessions? The definition of a session is completely arbitrary. I could be down a few hundred, go to dinner for half an hour, the come back and end up in the green for the day. Do I have to separately track them separately and get taxes extra before dinner?
It might be easier to keep track of for tournament players, but they often fire multiple bullets in tournaments. It i buy in for 1000 5 times, and am end up winning 50,000, do I have 4k in loses or is it treated as a win overall.

All of those questions don't matter because noone is going to accurately report their earnings when there's a tax incentive not to.

Nah, I am not a retard and thus knew that 2022's inflation was corporate greed. It was literally price gouging that caused it.

It's funny how you're fine with inflation caused by Trump (and even cheering it on) after all of the tardraging you did about it in 2022.

I guess you want the Great Reset to happen afterall.

And yeah, 2026 is likely gonna be awful for Republicans. 2018 was and this will be much worse when people lose their health insurance and will be even worse if Trump brings the tariffs back

Yeah, I don't really get it either. I doubt it brings in that much revenue in the grand scheme of things, either. I don't see the point of them doing that.

Who ever told you that was retarded. The Millennial range is typically 1980-1998, although I think Strauss and Howe put it at 1982-2000, which is reasonable, with some going as late as 1984, but that's a bit much. I prefer 1982-2000, since that means the generation started coming of age on the Millennium, but all generations get fuzzy around the start and end points. The real break in the Millennials is the ones who mostly grew up without smart phones and the ones who didn't. And the small batch at the start who are more like Xers than the later, insufferable soys.
