Dumb crossovers are a dime a dozen, studios banking on idiots clapping when they see their favorite memberberries are in for a shock when the game becomes flavor of the week and then loses all steam(remember Warner Bros Multiverse game that is now shutdown?). Sonic All-Stars Racing Transformed also had plenty of cameos(different ones depending on which console you played it on, actually) but the base game was good so the extra racers were the cherry on top. Let's see how good the actual gameplay is first.

It looks to have more customisation on not just the car parts, but also "gadgets" that can be tailored to your preferred gameplay style.

Been playing Unleashed since it got a PC release (late i know). I really like the day stages. The game runs like a charm with smooth 60fps. The controls are snappy and responsive thanks to a mod i downloaded. The night stages however, holy fuck they are a PAIN! The first stage almost game over me during the last part but i got lucky and won somehow. The amount of damage the enemies do to you feels like im playing the game on Dante Must Die mode in Devil May Cry. Even with fully upgraded health and shield, they will kill you if you not careful.

I cant imagine playing the game without the Like a Werehog mod. It makes combat so much better it feels like cheating sometimes.

I'm pretty sure that was a completely different game from the HD version.
Not really

I played the PS3 version once cause i was dating a chick that had it. Only thing the PS2/Wii versions are missing from the PS3/360 versions are the plane minigame, you can't free roam in the overworlds (it's just "go to location, talk to static images of people"), and some of (if not most of) the stages are cut in half while filling them up with fuck-ton of little missions.

I played the PS2 version back in the day. I don't remember the werehog levels being that hard unless that too got watered down on that port as well.
I played the Wii version back in the day. They had to cut out Mzuri beacuse the game disk could not hold alot of memory (you only got the boss fight) and the Werehog was cut into tiny missions instead of a hole stage. The hob world was also cut so you had a still image and options to talk with npc instead.

The recent DC X Sonic comic issue got delayed to June 25th. The strange thing is that DC is publishing the comic, not IDW, but perhaps the Sonic comic is just that cursed of a media format.

Play the Wii version, you'll be singing a different tone. I thought drifting from lane to lane would be on rails, not through analog control.
