Even crazier that she was included as DLC already in Sonic Frontiers (Japan only for some reason). I joke about it above, but she might genuinely be a character for Sonic Racing. Would make more sense than Yogscast in Transformed.

Paid DLC on release? That's how you know Sonic is a AAAA franchise once again.

They're even pricing it the same as the new mariokart, rather than trying to undercut it like with ASRT. Evidently the bean counters are confident in the product sales.
 
The pricing sickness is already spreading.

My gut feeling is that a good majority of the additional characters will be mainly other SEGA IP characters (likely some returning ones from previous SEGA All-Stars racers like Crazy Taxi's B.D. Joe) rather than other company-owned characters like Spongebob if the leaks are true.

Though if that one extreme gear board being patterned after Whisper is a indication of her inclusion, dear god will the IDW dickriders explode over it if she's confirmed.

While it does show us stuff like the turtles, SpongeBob, and Aang, with seemingly new renders, it’s missing the Yakuza, Persona, and Tranime on it. Ian Flynn’s Lesbian Couple are also in it, but Jap SEGA hates Murica SEGA and the former almost always calls the shots these days, along with the multiverse tails and Amy from that Netflix sonic show.
 
Ooh! Love to see the Nightopian nod. Reala too! I don't usually get excited about "big cast" stuff, but this makes me happy.
 
That's a strange leak photo, where's the Sonic Prime version of Knuckles? You'd expect it to be with the other two.

Now that theyre adding Werehog and likely not voiced by Jason anymore, there's this new argument if Roger can make a good Werehog impression..

..and people give his Batman impression as an example.


Dude. Roger is Crane from Dying Light. Crane is a half-human and half-super zombie. It's literally same thing with Unleashed Sonic. Don't show them fucking Batman of all things Roger can do.
 
They should get Roger to do his Chris Redfield voice instead.

Dumb crossovers are a dime a dozen, studios banking on idiots clapping when they see their favorite memberberries are in for a shock when the game becomes flavor of the week and then loses all steam(remember Warner Bros Multiverse game that is now shutdown?). Sonic All-Stars Racing Transformed also had plenty of cameos(different ones depending on which console you played it on, actually) but the base game was good so the extra racers were the cherry on top. Let's see how good the actual gameplay is first.
