Karen Read Stream - Day 33 Closing Arguments - Rekieta Notables

TL;DR: It was an afternoon replay of closing arguments due to camp pick up. Low effort, distractable. He couldn't focus for more than 30 seconds at a time. Claims his brain is special because it "takes snapshots". A daughter (off screen) interrupted. She was looking for Kayla. They chatted. More Cooking with Kurt.
Branca came in at the end. Nick said that he knows "a couple of couples who do Fansly which is like OnlyFans". (Oh, really, Rekieta?) "The money per viewer is catastrophically high." Tagging @Not Who You Think bc I think they were tracking his porn connections (?).
He mostly ignored the drama of last night though some Supertips didn't:

- Said he's been absent due to picking up some of his kids at camp which he's done for 10 years.
- Said he'll not be addressing the events of last night.
- Tries to do his OWN closing arguments but acknowledges that Jackson will do it better. (It was pretty bad. I assume he wants to clip it for a video.)
Defense Closing Arguments
- Gayly commented on Jackson's beard (which is fine; Nick thought it should be better groomed).
- He didn't know a bunch of MA law and trial specifics: 1) "Moral certainty" is part of ALL trials there; 2) The defense goes first in closing arguments; 3) The dog bite testimony was let in by Bev so the defense could argue it. (EDB knew all of this btw. Nick's chat had to tell him.)
- Incredibly distracted DM/Tweeting during the stream. He kept rewinding
- Made a poll on HIS (not Jackson's) closing argument.
- When he realized he had no idea what was going on: "This is the stuff I missed because I was so bored."
- "I need some levity" and decides he'll watch more Kurt between the two closing arguments.

- He owned a George Forman grill in college and would make steaks.
Cooking with Kurt
-Jokes about Redo the Healer needing to be required watching in kindergarten and Camelot. It was brief. He barely addressed it.
Prosecution Closing Arguments
- Nick got all fired up with anger at the prosecution. Said O'Keefe (the dead guy) was not necessarily a good person because he made money by fostering his niece in nephew. (Interesting. Nick and Kayla fostered.)
- A chatter got defensive about Kurt. He said: "Take your issues and shove them up your anus."
- Stuffed a submarine sandwich in his mouth. It was the "cold cut trio" from Subway.
- He kept bouncing in his seat.
- He mistakenly started reading out Twitter. Something from "MeatyActor"
- He didn't remember that prosecution had withheld the X-Ray evidence of no broken bones and the defense requested a mistrial.
Back to Cooking with Kurt
- Joked about Signal and nudes and how it's the best app.
- A third poll:
- Lots of fake outrage and screaming.
- "Sometimes you just need to yell at someone and most of the time it's me [yelling]... because I'm a jackass."
- Joked about how he [Nick] is very bad at what he does as witnessed in his shrinking numbers.
- Says that all of LawTube stagnated when HE stopped doing trials. "Isn't that weird, Kurt?"
- Admits that he "stopped doing the work."
- Daughter came in - they conversed on where Kayla was.
- Mentioned Doug TenNapel and the YT algorithm.
- Insulted LegalBytes; called her a mean girl.
