Kayla was hollowed out and there's not much left of her. You bet your ass she's emotionally incestuous, especially when you factor in that her partner is an abusive faggot that couches his extremely negative criticism as 'funny jokes, I didn't mean anything by it'. This in no way handwaves her behavior away, she is an adult, and a mother of five. She not only let this get as bad as it did, she willfully participated and roped others into it.

I had a buddy of mine. Insanely brilliant, but he was a party animal. Loved his drink, loved weed, and loved a good time. He told me once, that he did a line of coke and he immediately knew that he could never do it again. He said it was too amazing. He knew if he continued, it would be his life. He also knew that this first time was the best the time he would have with it. You will never get that high again. He never touched it again. Ended up going to OCS and becoming a officer in the Navy and had a wonderful career, that he loved, in the service.
