I wonder if he's fundamentally misunderstanding something. Maybe the reason he wasn't really feeling others pain the same way was because he hadn't suffered terribly before, so he couldn't quite get himself into the same headspace. Now, he's getting literally fucked up the ass and ruined socially, everything is falling apart around him, and he's having an "Oooh this is what it feels like moment" but he's too retarded and buck broken to communicate it well.

The simple answer is that before he didn't give a FUCK about certain people and Anisa gaslit him into thinking normal morality and judging situations logically is not empathetic.

I think its more likely that she made him think he was a sociopath so now he's overcompensating for her.

I just don't get how they thought this would work out for them at all. They were taking a 34% cut and they STILL couldn't be bothered to do more than the bare minimum, then they decided to chuck it to engage in the most destructive personal beef they could have. What was the plan here?
