It also could have been bad news related to the Montagraph lawsuit. It's funny that this man has so many dumpster fires going on in his life that when he gets shocking news there are too many things that it could be about.

"So yeah it's been a while since the last Rekieta update, as such I need to address a couple of things that have cropped up. Yes, I'm aware of the fact that Nick has blue fingers. Yes, I'm aware that Keanu dominated him last Friday. Yes, I will continue to mention Nick on MATI after the bodycam footage releases. Now many of you have been very patient in waiting for these videos, and for that I’m very grateful. Others of you have not been so patient to the point where I’m actually taking time out of this podcast to talk about it. Let me say this once again, since apparently it was not made clear when this video series began. The body cam footage has no set schedule. It will be done when it's done and will be released when it's done. In case you haven’t noticed I’ve been more than a little busy the last few months. If you haven’t noticed, wake up already! I left Serbia and moved to America, did a very complicated ending to an episode of Mad at the Internet, released additional videos in May beyond my regular workload, did my regular workload, which consists of an episode of Mad at the Internet every week despite trannies and other difficulties, one of those difficulties being moving into a trailer. In addition to that people don’t seem to realize how much work actually goes into these videos..."

Has anyone considered that maybe Nick’s fingers are turning blue because he’s been packing on weight recently? Maybe his circulatory system is having a hard time getting oxygen there because he’s so fat now?
That would also explain why his hairline is getting so bad.
Nick needs to STOP eating so much and START microneedling 24/7 before he looks like WingsOfRedemption.

This is what I don't get when people say it's ridiculous to think something he did on stream could come back and bite him or that it's ridiculous to think the cops would actually watch his stream to see what he's up to. It's ALREADY HAPPENED.

That's why if they really care and aren't just going to let it slide, they want an immediate second test, not just to confirm the first test, but also to rule out that the first test actually WAS bunk. I don't know Minnesota or more importantly Candy Yoshi itself, but a lot of times they use one of the cheapo five panel tests but the followup is something more thorough.

This was what Nick was rabbiting on about with regard to the unreliability of tests. The FIELD tests and cheapo routine tests actually are unreliable, to the point if you tried to go to trial solely based on such a test, it could probably be discredited at least to a reasonable doubt standard. The more expensive tests they prefer to go to court with, though, are scientifically reliable under Daubert/Frye or whatever other standard you'd need, and to discredit those, you'd need to discredit the experts the state brings, prove that equipment was miscalibrated, procedure wasn't followed, cross contamination could have occurred, etc.

At 4:17pm today, the Kandiyohi County Attorney filed a motion asking the judge in Rekieta's criminal case 34-CR-24-341 to "correct Court records to properly reflect that the two body cams were never offered or received as exhibits at the Omnibus hearing", stating that "the import of this issue is significant as under Minn. Stat. 13.82, subd. 7, 'any investigative data presented as evidence in court' shall be public."
