Very good theory.

It seems Nick originally tried to keep the threesome going, but when Kayla rejected and April eyed a promotion, he was trying to play a balancing act some months after until something came to a head. Isn't that gonna be Kayla, April or his parents? No idea. Quite interesting that he said April was staying in his parents house through January, so they likely stepped in.

The remaining April and Nick act is still unknown. Is Lord Balldo keeping her close by in hopes of getting the polycule going, or as a backup? Or did April genuinely decide to remain in a town she had no connections to and did she really get a new boyfriend?

The first time I saw Keanu was co-hosting Aaron’s show (before turning on him to defend April) - thought at the time she gave great reactions, sharp comments, and was also attractive (I mean compared to Aaron at least).

On her own she doesn’t have much to talk about except herself, and the “ditzy” personality is not good for structuring a show.
I also don't think she’s really as dumb as melton and co make out though - it’s part of the persona and worked like kryptonite against all of them. She got in some great zingers, and was grinning and laughing at Ricky throughout. The hero we didn’t know we needed.
