Listening to Hasan recount him getting questioned by Immigration and him pointing out the name of the Houthi is 'Sunni' is the biggest crock of misinfomation I've ever heard

He pointed out that the CBP is retarded and luckily he had an Iraqi-American CBP officer interrogating him about the Houthi Pirate so all he had to do was point out his name was Al-Haddad, and that made the CBP officer stop and go "oh right that's a sunni name" since Houthis are Shia.

This makes no fucking sense since first of all, the Iraqi Judge who SENTENCED SADDAM HUSSEIN to death, his name is Mamir Haddad, and he's a Shi'ite

Secondly, "Haddad" is Arabic for "Blacksmith" the name fucking predates Islam, and there are Christians in Lebanon and Jews in Israel named Haddad.

Are there even names that are exclusively Sunni or Shia? Obviously they might prefer different names, but is there a name that no Sunni would ever have or that a Shia would?

I have done a bit of research, nothing deep (some web searches and Grok). Yeah. Even some Christians and Jews have the "Al Haddad" surname. And the kid is from Yemen, right? Grok tells me there is a type of Shia (Zaydi Shia) there and Al Haddad is a popular surname for them. So Hasan is just (to no surprise) full of shit.

I don’t know if this was mentioned already, but Hasan will be streaming with Noah Samsen on May 18.

I know there's specifically Jewish and Christian Arabic names, like Mia Khalifa's real name Chamoun is a Christian.

There's also explicitly muslim names like Anisa Jomha's last name means "Day of Congregation" specifically meaning Friday the Muslim day of Prayer.

Now there may be regional biases due to how tribal Arabs are, as for the name Al-Haddad, doing research in Arabic the only time I see it come up in Yemen is people going up against the Houthis since evidently one of the big sunni tribes in Yemen are the Al-Haddad apparently but I'll ask my Arab friends to confirm.

But, for an Iraqi CBP officer to spontaneously say "oh you're right that's a Sunni name", is simply unbelievable when the Judge who presided over the trial and execution of Saddam Hussein was a Shia named Haddad shows he's just lying out of his ass.

yeah this whole thing was so retarded. personally the only person i've met irl named haddad was a jew.

and you don't have to be shia to be a houthi, i've heard different numbers on the percentages but they have many sunni fighters. only 30% of the population is even shia, yet houthis control the majority of the population, this is the natural result (especially for a group that recruits soldiers, even children, forcibly).

You're overlooking something important.

this is informative, am i wrong in saying there are some number of sunni fighters though? genuinely asking, i've heard it's a minority but growing since the 2010s, but im just some retard.

hard to say for sure based on this map especially since it doesnt show population density unless im missing it. it looks like there are sunni majority areas controlled by the houthis, but i have no idea how many people even live there

I hate to ask, but does anyone have the clip of Hasan referring to Nasrallah as "based" and minimizing his calls for violence against the gays to some shit like "his policy on civil liberties"? I know I've seen it but it looks like Hasan has been trying to get it scrubbed, because all of my googling shows removed clips.

Stolen from the H3 sub. Republicans are being more gracious about Biden's cancer than the "biggest left wing streamer." The bizzare mouse utopia experiment that is online leftism has reached the part where they eat each other.

Its not surprising. A lot of leftoids, and their audiences, get off to being edgy and try-hardish. Its the legacy of ChapoTraphouse rubbing off on them. More so, his comment about Biden is a bit ironic considering Hasan had no problem lionizing people such as Assad using the same arguments Israel uses to attack terrorists. The moral self righteous about civilian casualties is very selective and phony from people like him.

I want to say no one has done more to hurt the cause of Palestinians than Hasan himself. Every time he speaks about them, the less I care about the issue.

As I said earlier in this thread leftists like hasan are the types to advocate for revolution but at the most larp about it for months and attend 1 protest. Modern western leftists just make bookclubs and visit there locally owned queer anarchist coffee shop that doubles as a book store selling garbage like the anarchist cookbook.

Half of these people are literally just closeted Islamists like Mr Piker. In his case, he's actually just a closeted Turkish Ultra Nationalists. I think it was Belgium where a bunch of progressive parties got busted for being front groups for the Turkish government. I wouldn't be surprised if his dad gives him a list of talking points every single week of things he should promote, or just does that, because that's his actual politics, which is Turkish ultra nationalism or neoadomism.
For everyone's viewing pleasure, Hassan talking about. react gate for some reason and totally not a content thief.

Surely this is the straw that broke the camels back and the Democrat-aligned media are finally going to cancel the Turk Roach over this, right?

Looks like the DHS have called out Hasan for lying his ass off:
relevant quote:
Lies for likes: Influencer claims he was targeted for "political beliefs"

  • Claims that Hasan Piker’s political beliefs triggered a CBP inspection are baseless.
  • CBP officers follow the law, not agendas. Upon entering the country, this individual was referred for further inspection—a routine, lawful process that occurs daily, and can apply to any traveler.
Once his inspection was complete, he was promptly released.
