The main thing we learned from the lawsuit is that the MPD does NOT contest that they've travelled to the hovel more than 40 times or so.

There are incredibly complicated rules about the retroactivity of Supreme Court decisions, and you honestly don't want a 100,000 word rant about the subject, which it is entirely possible to produce.

However, to encapsulate it into something almost idiotically simple, I think something called "pipeline retroactivity" applies here. Generally, Supreme Court decisions (and superior court decisions in general) apply retroactively to cases already in the trial phase and to some extent when they are under appeal to a court bound by those very same decisions.

So if anyone raises it (either or both sides may decide it is not in their advantage to do so), or if the court itself notices it, it is more or less obligatory (if this form of retroactivity applies) to take it into consideration.

tl;dr this is a Supreme Court ruling. Section 1983 is all about "clearly established law." This would be "clearly established law" AFTER the events in this case. However, it is about the Supreme Court's opinion about what "clearly established law" actually is, and presumably was before both the events of the instant case and Fatty's case.

So have fun I guess.

I love the well meaning liberal racism of Patrick assuming that this is a lady who was tricked by trolls and terrorists and not someone who is fucking with him just for the fun of it. He really does think that black people are stupid. idk if Jackie Superior knows that Patrick didn't actually make the post that sparked all this, but I think she has already decided that she doesn't care and even clear evidence that Patrick is innocent isn't going to stop her.

The second, whiter Jackie appears to have watched a lot of Cryptic Web Chronicles and has taken up the phrase "ballwashers". Now any viewer to that channel knows that this means Ooga, Hildy, Jackie Singh, Shane Nokes etc. and the SFWA. I wonder if the second Jackie thinks that "ballwashers" is actually referring to the ONA Pests? I.e. she thinks that Pat and the ONA Pests are working together and that they are providing a plausible deniability for Patrick's Racisms? The whole situation of seven years of being trolled non-stop does seem a little implausible.

There are US schools that have 100% acceptance rates and will waive any requirement other than the ability to fill out a student loan application.

Getting accepted to college is not a big deal anymore. It used to be. The whole reason why during Vietnam, there was a college deferment for college was because so few men got into college, that allowing deferments wouldn't actually affect the potential draft pool that much.

I think it wasn't until the mid 70's that the percentage of the US population with a degree hit 10 percent. Now it's like around 40%.

I'm not saying Rick has a degree. I think he is too lazy and antisocial to be able to even handle a community college degree. I'm just saying that him being a mouth breathing retard is not why he doesn't have a degree.
