I have to correct the record here. That’s really not an accurate representation of why the DV came to exist. Melendez started flipping the fuck out on a variety of people, including Anthony Cumia, in such a very public and unhinged way — while also revealing himself to be an amoral, gutter-dwelling cunt — that his lunacy demanded to be documented. Similar to Aaron Imholte’s case, I never got into watching the shows that clown him because his full-time observers are such hateworthy people that my disgust far outweighed any entertainment value I might have otherwise derived from watching them. And I say this as a person who has hate boners for Rekieta, Tomlinson, Scalfani and many others.

TL;DR John Melendez deserves everything he gets and so do those who have made a profession out of documenting him. None of them are worthy of white-knighting.

It is wild to me that last night I was just thinking this sounds like a lifetime style movie that only ends one way: with a violent confrontation and someone dead. Having no idea he posted this. There is a legal way to handle this Nicky. And I hope both men can keep their shit together. But I’m starting to wonder and worry how this ends.

It was a gloss over, but from what I understand that was the point Karl from WATP first covered SJ's podcast. Then John had to sperg out at him and Karl covered him a couple more times but it wasn't a topic on every show yet. I'm not sure if that was before or after John was fighting with Cumia but then of course Karl jumped back in harder to suck up to Ant and because it gave him a huge bump in his audience getting the O&A and Howard fans. Then it all snowballed from Chrissy Mare saying "I heard you dabbled in comedy" to cause another John meltdown and they got their official name. Shuli sticking his Jew nose into it made every show start obsessing over John and that became the Dabbleverse of today.

This hitting the wall thing is a myth. If you're attractive when you're younger, you're probably going to be attractive when you're older. Women who had lots of choice in dating in their 20s still have the same amount of choice in their 30s and 40s. Same with attractive guys. The difference is some of them have gone through a divorce and have kids. The pretty people continue to find each other well into middle age.
