There is a shared objective reality. My concern is what standard would be set by institutions that could cause unnecessary damage, just like the example @Day of the Cope brought up with how they classify drugs. Only retards and lawyers would have a hard time telling if something is or isn't pornographic.

The point is that it's an institution that sets a standard on how a products content is defined. Your Dad still buying you GTA is unrelated to me saying a product defined as porn would be taxed for 500%

The massive prostitution industry is dwarfed by porn, at least in regards to America.

if the porn industry doesn't self-regulate then I'd bet major bucks that everyone involved is gonna lose in some way. I'd really prefer the industry Disappearing into the void, But I simply don't trust Washington to not draft a dual-purpose act made to further deanonymize the internet (and also regulate pornography too).

Because prostitution laws vary by state, and in some states, paying someone to do porn actually does violate prostitution laws. The feds could ban interstate commerce in porn, though.

Because the military was hamstrung by rules of engagement that politicians placed and we still dominated them most of the time.

Ask anyone who served in Vietnam and you can learn a lot of the horse shit that they had to go through. Pilots couldn't shoot down migs without visual confirmation that it wasn't a Soviet pilot.

They weren't allowed to attack military instillations directly from the air in case they hit a Soviet.

And a whole list of other horseshit. This video goes over it pretty well.


But yeah the military wasn't using these all that often

Also the BLU-127B wasn't made till 2002

Yes we totally flubbed that historical time we failed to deploy bunker busters against the Vietnamese... You know, the weapon intended to bust defensive concrete structures and deep ground bunkers that was "defined" and crystalized as a term around the 1980s, we totally failed to utilize them properly in a conflict that started in the mid to late 50s and ended in 1975.

We totally dropped the ball utilizing an anti-structure weapon that didn't yet properly exist against a people chiefly using scatter shot guerilla tactics with their whole doctrine being not relying on static defensible structures and rat holing and staying on the move and ambushes.
